The conference was good. When it started i was feeling very small. My experience is mainly with artificial life conferences, and here, i thought, they will require a mathematical rigor that i am not so accostvned too anymore. It is true that the conference was more math sound than the usual alife. Still it was quite within grasp. And what was not was obviously out of reach for the majority of the audience. End of an inferiority feeling. As i previously said, all the talks were invited. And the level of the speakers was really high. Many professors who spent many years, if not their whole career on a problem. Explaining us their findings. On the other hand it became extremely clear that being a good researcher does not imply in any way that you are also a good communicator. Too many tried to fit in the 45 minutes slot too much material, making the lesson obscure to downright un understandable. Some who didn't where eye openers.
