This early Smith & Wesson rimfire revolver is engraved, "Capt. S.F. Willard presented by the Scranton Guards." It carries serial number 3346 on the butt and has patent dates of 4/3/1856, 7/3/1859 and 12/18/1860 on the revolver drum. According to www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Category4_..., "In 1856 Smith & Wesson formed their second partnership to produce a small revolver designed to fire the Rimfire cartridge they patented in August of 1854. This revolver was the first successful fully self-contained cartridge revolver available in the world. Smith & Wesson secured patents for the revolver to prevent other manufacturers from producing a cartridge revolver - giving the young company a very lucrative business."

At the 2022 Lancaster County 4-H Presentations Contest, 15 4-H'ers participated. Fifteen presented in the "Illustrated Presentation" class. Presenters in these categories used computer-based visuals and props, etc.
Presentations provide 4-H’ers the opportunity to learn to express themselves clearly and convincingly, organize their ideas and present them in logical order, research subjects, have confidence in themselves and emphasize the major points through the use of visuals or examples.
4-H Presentations is a Lancaster County Super Fair contest held before the fair.
