i actually edited this on Picmonkey.com
Picnik recommended it. It's actually just like picnik with less effects and fonts. But it works really good. But some effects are premium. You also get a free month of premium features. :)
This '60s era Chevrolet Biscayne was known as the working or economy class entry for the company from the the late '50s to the mid '70s.Seldom did it have premium exterior features like chrome, but you were able to order a Biscayne with power features like the big Chevy V-8's and heavy duty sport transmissions of the time. That made them a popular alternative to the more pricey Chevrolet Impalas and Bel-Airs of the same period. This forgotten car across from a country church and cemetery in rural Polo is pretty much complete and certainly in restorable condition. If restored,I got the feeling it would finally get some of those premium features, and respect, that have so far been lacking....
Go North East's Chester-le-Street based Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Micro-Hybrid 5401 (NK15 ENO), which carries Go North East's corporate livery, is pictured here at Chester-le-Street Depot, Chester-le-Street, whilst out of service. 28/01/16
Last summer, Go North East upgraded its "Lime" 8 and 78 services to brand new Wright Streetlite vehicles with a new name: "Coast & Country". The company invested into an additional spare vehicle for Chester-le-Street Depot, which carries fleet livery.
On Sundays; when the PVR of the "Coast & Country" services is reduced, 5401 (NK15 ENO) is allocated to services 14 and X22. This provides customers on these services with premium features such as free Wi-Fi and power sockets, and the company can also claim for an enhanced rate of BSOG payment (an extra 6p per kilometre), thus making the Sunday operation of these services more likely to make a profit.
Whilst some remain sceptical about branded services having corporate liveried spare vehicles, I firmly believe it delivers operational benefits to the company whilst benefiting other customers when the spare vehicle is not required for the normal branded service.
Before working services 14 and X22 on a Sunday morning, the bus runs light to Scorer’s Lane End, three minutes before Great Lumley Warrior’s Arms, to perform an additional journey on "Coast & Country" service 78, which terminates at Chester-le-Street, for which the bus is screened for in the above photograph.

Iconic Star Wars heroes and villains are captured with incredible detail and premium features to commemorate each epic tale in the Star Wars saga.
One more Picnik edit - use it while it lasts!

Translink Goldline (Foyle) 2028
This week's weekend update comes from Derry & Belfast! Starting off with this near side shot of brand new Goldliner 2028! After being delivered back in December, these finally trickled into service from the last few days of January, and their presence has become very quickly noticeable. All 12 are destined for Ulsterbus Foyle, primarily for the flagship 'Maiden City Flyer' 212 service.
Foyle have them working around the clock so far, coming in and getting a 1/2 hour break before going straight back out to Belfast again to do another loop.
Very impressive coaches these are though - leather seating, free WiFi and charging points at every seat are just some of the premium features that Translink opted for and that will be well appreciated by customers.
More details on their launch will be included in the next photo.

Despite always being considered a cut above Matchbox and Hot Wheels, Majorette have rarely ever gone beyond semi-premium status except for a short lived range back in the early 1990's.
In a move which surprised many collectors they've recently introduced a "Collection" series which puts them right into collector grade status. These are no tarted up basic castings such as we are used to with MBX and HW, they have been designed to be premium from the onset and boy does it show!
In order to be a sales success outside of Europe they've played it quite safe with their vehicle choices but ones which have a broader appeal, particularly with the JDM crowd. Their small size is a bit of a surprise, I believe they are true 1/64 scale, and are packed with premium features.
This 1995 Honda NSX-R GT has predictably been rather hyped but that doesn't mean its style above substance, it has an all metal construction including its baseplate and features a host of intricate detailing though to keep things tight and lean theres deliberately no working suspension or opening features.
Amazingly these have appeared in the UK via ASDA and Sainsbury's though my example came from a French Carrefour which charges a lot less than the above two!

The 1960 Electra was the most stylish Buick of all time. Gulf News calls her an all time classic. Her sheer charisma was such that she could stop the traffic on the busiest of roads, with just one look. A concave grille and beautiful horizontal headlights embedded with a brand new Trishield logo gave a facelift to both the Electra and Electra 225 (compared to the previous models). Additionally, chrome Ventiports had been brought back for all the Buicks of that year, including the Electra. The 1960 Electras featured four of them, one for each of the trademark front fenders. These remain one of the most popular features of the car to this day. Another fun addition to the 60s version was a Mirromatic speedometer, which used a tilting mirror to adjust the gauges directly in the line of sight for better visibility of the driver. The entire dashboard panel was a mirror that reflected images from the speedometer, idiot lights, and the odometer.
When every other company was doing horn rings, Electras came studded with the revolutionary (and shiny), chrome horn bars. They also came standard with a two-way power driver seat, power windows, and a bunch of premium features trailed with a host of safety aids. On top of all these, plush interiors, gorgeous carpets, and a well-furnished dashboard added oodles of oomph.
The real joy of owning the glorious 1960 Electra came from under the hood. The car was great on its own, but its voluptuous and powerful engine, the 401 cubic inch Wildcat V8 stole the show. The 6.6-liter Nailhead V8 was mated with a Turbine Drive (Dynaflow) automatic transmission for a power-packed performance. The engine with its four-barrel carburetor churned a whopping 325 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. The ’60 Electra fired effortlessly and made for a very smooth ride. You have to drive it to experience the magic and appreciate it for what it was. The sheer pleasure and luxury it offered in every ride were unmatchable. She was a truly powerful and luxurious grand tourer.
This iconic car has wonderfully maintained its value. Despite being more than sixty years old and actively surviving for over six generations, they are still in high demand. While their predecessor was dramatic, chrome-heavy, and failed to hit home, the 1960 Electra checked all the right boxes with the highly stylized lines, huge Delta wing fins, and bedazzling headlights. Of course, the major highlight was that it was the snazziest one out of all the competitors, in the market.
Even though the model in question shared the basic appearance with the ’59 model, the restyling had been just right to soften the look, all the while chucking out the unnecessary extras and sharper bits of the older version. The best thing about it was that it was also fun to drive, which is why very few cars could match its magic. This superb blend of luxury, looks, and performance make the 1960 Buick Electra a classic car.
Hello Flickr Friends!
Flickr is a very important to me. This is my #1 spot to go for my doll hobby. If Flickr didn't exist, I don't think I would be into doll photography.
The CEO of Flickr sent out an important email on December 19th 2019. I think it was just sent out to the Pro Members, but I wanted to share it with everyone. (I know some of you are already Pro Members and most likely already read this.)
If Flickr disappeared, I would feel immensely guilty for not sharing the letter. Wondering if me sharing knowledge would have made a difference. :)
P.S. There's a discount code at the end of the letter. Please feel free to use it if wanting to upgrade to Pro.
Thank you for reading and many doll hugs from me and my 12" crew. :)
The Letter:
Dear Flickr Pros,
First, and above all else: thank you. Thank you for being a part of our community. Thank you for caring about Flickr. Thank you for supporting Flickr. Thank you for being a Flickr Pro.
Two years ago, Flickr was losing tens of millions of dollars a year. Our company, SmugMug, stepped in to rescue it from being shut down and to save tens of billions of your precious photos from being erased.
Why? We’ve spent 17 years lovingly building our company into a thriving, family-owned and -operated business that cares deeply about photographers. SmugMug has always been the place for photographers to showcase their photography, and we’ve long admired how Flickr has been the community where they connect with each other. We couldn’t stand by and watch Flickr vanish.
So we took a big risk, stepped in, and saved Flickr. Together, we created the world’s largest photographer-focused community: a place where photographers can stand out and fit in.
And yet, Flickr—the world’s most-beloved, money-losing business—still needs your help.
We’ve been hard at work improving Flickr. We hired an excellent, large staff of Support Heroes who now deliver support with an average customer satisfaction rating of above 90%. We got rid of Yahoo’s login. We moved the platform and every photo to Amazon Web Services (AWS), the industry leader in cloud computing, and modernized its technology along the way. As a result, pages are already 20% faster and photos load 30% more quickly. Platform outages, including Pandas, are way down. Flickr continues to get faster and more stable, and important new features are being built once again.
Our work is never done, but we’ve made tremendous progress.
Flickr still needs your help. It’s still losing money. You, and hundreds of thousands of loyal Flickr members stepped up and joined Flickr Pro, for which we are eternally grateful. It’s losing a lot less money than it was. But it’s not yet making enough.
We need more Flickr Pro members if we want to keep the Flickr dream alive, and we need your help to share the story of Flickr.
We didn’t buy Flickr because we thought it was a cash cow. Unlike platforms like Facebook, we also didn’t buy it to invade your privacy and sell your data. We bought it because we love photographers, we love photography, and we believe Flickr deserves not only to live on but thrive. We think the world agrees; and we think the Flickr community does, too. But we cannot continue to operate it at a loss as we’ve been doing.
Flickr is the world’s largest photographer-focused community. It’s the world’s best way to find great photography and connect with amazing photographers. Flickr hosts some of the world’s most iconic, most priceless photos, freely available to the entire world. This community is home to more than 100 million accounts and tens of billions of photos. It serves billions of photos every single day. It’s huge. It’s a priceless treasure for the whole world. And it costs money to operate. Lots of money.
As you know, Flickr is the best value in photo sharing anywhere in the world. Flickr Pro members get ad-free browsing for themselves and their visitors, advanced stats, unlimited full-quality storage for all their photos, plus premium features and access to the world’s largest photographer-focused community.
Please, help us spread the word. Help us make Flickr thrive. Help us ensure Flickr has a bright future. Every Flickr Pro subscription goes directly to keeping Flickr alive and creating great new experiences for photographers like you. We are building lots of great things for the Flickr community, but we need your help. We can do this together.
We’re launching our end-of-year Pro subscription campaign on Thursday, December 26, but I want to give you a coupon code to share with friends, family, or anyone who shares your love of photography and community so they can enjoy the same 25% discount before the campaign starts.
We’ve gone to great lengths to optimize Flickr for cost savings wherever possible, but the increasing cost of operating this enormous community and continuing to invest in its future will require a small price increase early in the new year, so this is truly the very best time to help everyone upgrade to a Pro membership.
If you value Flickr finally being independent, built for photographers and by photographers, we need your help.
With gratitude,
Don MacAskill

An experiment - I'd be really grateful for criticism on this.
PS I discovered today that if you go to www.picnik.com to process your picture (rather than click the 'edit' button in Flickr) lots of the Premium features are available. That's nice :)

Hello All, we have introduced new xChip premium features to the WINK APP! Upgrade now to start using this functionality! Don't have xChip or Wink? Visit UBER to pick up your copy!
As Picnik has opened it's premium features to the great unwashed, prior to leaving us to our own devices soon, I used this shot to play around with it while I still can!
Although looking real, this is a 1/18 scale diecast by Autoworld ERTL Collectibles in the American Muscle Series.
1966 Chevrolet Biscayne of Maryland Police Dept. (USA).
It has opening boot, doors and bonnet (hood). Wonderful representation of a red beacon on the roof. Separate light lenses front and rear with fully detailed interior right down to lever on the steering wheel and a gear lever finished with white golf ball effect. A fine aerial is fixed to the rear wing.
A superb motor inside and out.
I bought a new (new to me-really it's used) lens and tried it out this morning-it's the Tamron 200-400 mm, I read it described as the "budget photographers" telephoto-that's me the budget photographer. Anyway this is one of my first shots from it-I guess I should be using a tripod-but I don't wanna!
An advertising postcard for a deluxe Olympia typewriter model, nicely accented with a dog figurine, pretty flowers, and a rattan window shade.
Printed on the back: "Olympia offers instrument precision and classical beauty to give you the most modern portable for many years of enjoyment and trouble-free service. The most advanced premium features are standard equipment (at no extra charge) on the Olympia model SM3 DeLuxe...."
Brand new Majorette Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 casting which makes its debut in a big way via their spectacular Mercedes-AMG themed sub series. Bright vivid colours are very much allowed here giving off authentic vibes for customers who love their Mercedes cars to be very fast and very expensive!
The CLE's traditional coupe shape has been captured beautifully by Majorette whilst retaining more premium features which are safe on any release above the budget Ride Now line. Mercedes approved wheels are appealing and distinctive as well as all round detailing.
Part of a five vehicle set found recently at a JoueClub and the "exclusive" model in the assortment.

Sadly only one of these brand new Matchbox Morris Minor Tourers per case which is why I bought two! ;-p
A very unexpected choice for them to model though I have since found out that one of the Matchbox designers wife actually drives one and that is almost certainly the reason why they produced it.
Debuting in the Moving Parts line hence its opening bonnet but non premium features such as grey bumpers it has to be one of my all time favourite MBX castings!

I-Pace, the first Jaguar all-electric car, was introduced in 2018. Manufactured in Graz, Austria, the Jaguar I-Pace is best known for an engaging driving experience, stylish design, and premium features. It offers a compelling blend of performance, range, and practicality, making it a strong contender in the electric vehicle market.
It has won over 90 global awards, including European Car of the Year 2019 and has sold 66,750 units.
In 2025, the UK electric vehicle (EV) market is experiencing significant growth, with sales making up 22% of all new cars sold so far this year.
Arriva North East's Stockton-based VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2 1451 (NK10 CFU), which carries Arriva's corporate livery, is pictured here on High Street, Stockton-on-Tees, whilst working "MAX" service X12 to Durham. 24/04/16
Arriva operates a limited service on "MAX" service X12 on Sundays, which operates between Middlesbrough and Durham only.
The operation remains wholly with Stockton on Sundays, using standard single-deck VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2 vehicles as opposed to the usual "MAX" specification VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2 and VDL DB300/Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 vehicles from Stockton and Belmont respectively.
This means that the usual 'premium' features such as free Wi-Fi and e-leather seating are not available on Sundays.
Perhaps I threw too many effects on this, but Picnik premium features are now free and I liked it, so here it is!
Although I may at times sound like an old fart I'm not actually old enough to have been bought one of these new! This Lone Star Ford Taunus 12 M dates from the 1960's and I seem to remember finding this at the second hand market in Huddersfield as a child back in the later 1980's. It was in pretty much exactly this condition when I bought it for a few Pence but even then I did see the interest in older types of vehicles like this.
Lone Star products sadly weren't very common by the time I started buying my own models, they remained in business until around 1985 but by that point were more known for their toy guns than cars and were always massively outgunned by Corgi and Matchbox. Despite its condition you can clearly see that this small company put a lot of effort into their Matchbox competing small diecasts, all metal bodies, nice wheels, working suspension and opening parts are deemed premium features these days but were part of the norm back then!
If your wallet can't quite stretch to the 9.00 we Brits now pay for our premium Hot Wheels various Chinese toy makers have the solution ;-p
Well kind of; they like to replicate the castings and quite often the original liveries but leave out the premium features such as this rather cheeky little number by Meijin. Clearly a copy of the Japan Historics Mazda RX-3 with altered logos to avoid any licensing issues and in all fairness is actually a rather crisp representation. Its as unlicensed as unlicensed can be but its quality and realism is actually better than the Temu advert photographs!
Part of a six vehicle set.

Had this been a Hot Wheels it would have set the internet on fire by now such is its stunning Vaillant livery and indeed vehicle choice. Its shiny gold coloured wheels I appreciate won't be to everybody's taste but it certainly helps this model get noticed even more alongside its Deluxe Cars specialised packaging and other premium features such as opening front doors.

Photo of our TV screen - TCM 1960 Japanese 90 min. BW movie “Warped Ones” with English subtitles. Two teen criminals and a prostitute go on a rampage in Tokyo. This is the first time that I saw this vintage watch. The sound track was filled with West Coast American jazz, something very new to Japan. The jazz of the sound track was all played by Japanese musicians. The movie was one of a series of Japanese movies that showed some of the impact made by an American occupied country. It reflected some wild American movies of rebellious youngsters, more often in the USA with motorcycles and rock and roll.

The original scribes of the Bible may have been inspired by God. Their modern-day successors? They find inspiration in vacuum cleaners, polka-dot bedspreads and a slick, hot-pink Juicy Couture purse.
This all may sound a bit irreverent. But consider it from the Bible publisher's point of view: How do you sell a really old book that 91% of households already have?
Options
You can't update the content, or get the author on Oprah.
But you can make the look sizzle. If pink and shiny sells a purse, why not a psalm?
In the conference room they call the Bible Bunker, executives of Bible publisher Zondervan pore over fabric swatches. They watch PowerPoints on the latest in appliances and accessories, noting color trends. They caress bold new patterns in embossed faux leather.
"People ask, 'How do you get excited working on one darn book?' " says Scott Bolinder, an executive vice president. "Yet there's probably no place you can be more imaginative -- and more strategic."
It's still possible to purchase, for as little as $7, a traditional Bible with a stiff, dark, fake-leather cover, of the sort that used to be tucked into pews all across America. But if the industry had stuck to those, it wouldn't be selling $770 million worth of Bibles a year in the U.S. alone.
Figuring an average price of about $30, which may well be conservative, that adds up to 25 million Bibles a year. By comparison, Scholastic has shipped 14 million copies of the latest Harry Potter book in the U.S. The second-hottest book this year, "The Secret," has sold about 3 million copies.
In that context, the Bible's success is phenomenal. Zondervan plans to keep stoking demand by making sure God's word looks hip, sounds relevant and is advertised all over, including in Rolling Stone magazine and Modern Bride, on MySpace -- even on a jumbotron in New York City's Times Square.
"A lot of people read the Bible because it's obligatory, something to keep God off their backs," says Paul J. Caminiti, a vice president. "We're looking to turn them into Bible lovers . . . so it becomes part of the warp and woof of their being."
The first wave of innovation came in the 1980s, when Zondervan, Thomas Nelson Inc., Tyndale House and other publishers began to create Bibles aimed at specific groups, such as teens or newlyweds. These editions contained the whole Scripture, but with added commentary, prayers and tips for spiritual growth.
Five years ago, a supplier came to Zondervan headquarters here in western Michigan with a new imitation leather. Soft and supple, it could hold fancy stitching and vibrant colors.
"I remember [the chief financial officer] saying, 'Let's not go too crazy. Let's start with two-tone, tan-and-brown and tan-and-black,' " Caminiti says. "Then we ventured out into red and yellow and they just took off. Everybody wanted them."
The splashy look snagged prime display space not just in Christian retailers, but in secular bookstores, Wal-Marts and Costcos.
Zondervan began churning out limited-edition, one-season-only Scripture: a thin checkbook-shaped Bible with jazzy blue and silver stripes for $30, a square Bible in meadow green for $35, a pocket-size edition in soft browns and oranges for $20. At least a third of Bibles are purchased as gifts, and Zondervan made sure there was one for every occasion -- even sorority rush. (The light-pink and apple-green colors of Alpha Kappa Alpha have been a big hit.)
On a gloomy Monday in mid-December, Zondervan executives review a palette of mahogany hues for a Father's Day edition. In the Bible Bunker -- amply stocked with huge, buttery cookies -- they turn next to a marketing dilemma.
This coming year marks the 30th anniversary of the best-selling New International Version of the Bible, a highly readable translation that has vaulted Zondervan (a division of HarperCollins) to the top of the Bible publishing world, with a 40% market share.
To celebrate, the company is producing an update of the NIV Study Bible, with thousands of revised footnotes. Formatted with extra-wide margins for note-taking, bound in premium leather, the new edition has been tentatively priced at $119.99.
But Randy Bishop, vice president of production, has cold feet. The existing NIV Study Bible comes in a dozen sizes and bindings, priced from $25 to $80. He wonders if customers will pay so much more for the anniversary edition.
"If you put chocolate coating on an Oreo, it's a different cookie, and you ought to be able to charge more," Caminiti argues. "The packaging has to scream that this is something really new: First time! Fudge-dipped! Chocolate-coated!"
Todd Niemeyer, vice president of sales, chuckles and murmurs, "Smoke and mirrors."
The team kicks around inexpensive ways to make the new edition stand out.

"We could put in an extra ribbon marker. . . . Maybe special parchment paper at the beginning?" Bishop suggests.
"There you go!" says Brian Scharp, vice president of Bible marketing. "The list of premium features is growing and growing."
"Gold-plated bling?" Niemeyer asks mischievously.
"A vial of Holy Land soil attached to the back?" Bishop offers, as the room dissolves in laughter.
The Zondervan staff has turned down a few ideas -- a 3-D pop-up Bible, for instance -- that they found too gimmicky. "There is a line, because it's God's word," Scharp says.
Later, though, he admits: "It's hard to draw the line in any one place and say, 'We're never going to cross that.' "
Zondervan recently published a Celebrate Recovery Bible for alcoholics. (The commentary notes that Adam showed an addict's skill at denial when God scolded him for eating the forbidden fruit.) For kids, there's a comic-book Bible in Japanese manga style. (One panel shows elderly Isaac and Rebekah praying for a child. In the next panel, Rebekah's stomach pops out -- to a "WHAM! BIFF! POW!")
Holman Christian Standard offers the Golfer's Bible, a compact hardcover that intersperses the Gospel with advice on proper grip. Thomas Nelson puts out BibleZines -- including the New Testament packaged as a glossy teen magazine, complete with beauty tips and quizzes. There's even a waterproof Bible with pages that fold out, map-style.
All this has raised predictable concerns.
"Where the fine line between accessibility and desecration is, is not real clear sometimes," says Phyllis Tickle, a noted Christian author. "I find it really, really distressing to think that young people may have their first impression of Christian Scripture presented to them in an almost pandering way."
Shopping in a Christian store in Grand Rapids, Kurt Forrest looks almost dizzy at the selection. He's trying to find a Bible for his 7-year-old son among more than 300 titles, including some that break up the Scripture with science projects or descriptions of gory battles.
"I want the full-blown Bible," Forrest says, frustrated, "something he can carry with him all the way out into his teen years."
Nearly 20 minutes later, he's still browsing.
Which points up a flaw in the Bible-for-every-interest strategy: Half of all customers who walk into a store intending to buy a Bible leave empty-handed, according to Brenda Lugannani, a vice president of Family Christian Stores, the nation's largest Christian chain.
"When they look at what's available," she says, "it begins to confuse them."
On the other hand, modern Christians have come to expect a very personalized faith.
The culture has steadily moved away from the biblical concept that believers must be "in the world, but not of it." Instead of stepping into a distinct Christian culture, they stay where they are, and Christian culture comes to them. There are Bible studies just for Harley owners, evangelists who target only wrestling fans, ministries for skateboarders and rappers and porn stars.
So why not a glittery pink, totally tubular Soul Surfer Bible?
"We're serious about taking the Bible to the masses in a way the public can understand and engage," Caminiti says. "We've always said we publish for every age and every stage, and we do that unapologetically."
That's good by Melinda Skarli, who's searching a Family Christian Store in Grand Rapids for a Bible that her teenage daughter can give a troubled friend. "I want one that's going to be cute enough for her friend to be attracted to," she explains, leafing through a compact edition bound in hot pink and orange.
In a way -- an admittedly commercial way -- theologian Kurt Fredrickson sees modern publishers as following the hallowed footsteps of Christian heroes such as Jan Hus, William Tyndale and Martin Luther, who risked their lives to bring God's word to the masses.
"For centuries, there's been a desire to make the Bible more accessible," says Fredrickson, who directs the doctor of ministry program at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Several leaked technical images have prematurely revealed the 2015 Renault Espace MPV well ahead of its debut at next fall's Paris Motor Show.
Not surprisingly, the fifth-gen Espace borrows a sizable amount of design cues from the Initiale Paris concept that was presented last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Although the show car's boxy overall shape has been carried over to the production car, it has predictably lost its rear suicide doors and gained a taller roof line.
Interior pictures are not available but expect the next Espace to feature with a well-appointed, high-tech cockpit in order to follow Renault's upmarket move. Upscale trim levels will come with premium features such as full leather upholstery, a touch screen-based infotainment system with voice command and wood trim on the dashboard.
Power will come from small-displacement gasoline- and diesel-burning engines ranging from approximately 1.4- to 2.0-liters. Entry-level models will be equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, while more expensive variants will gain an automatic unit. Front-wheel drive will be the only configuration available.
More details about the fifth-gen Renault Espace will emerge over the coming months. Though it will initially launch as a five-seater, a long-wheelbase seven-seater model will join the lineup later in the production run.

“Skype screen share becomes premium; Google+ Hangout = free;” $MSFT $GOOG
I just went onto Skype to screen share for a conference but apparently after Microsoft bought Skype, all these features which used to be free comes with a $ sign. You can’t even just pay with credit anymore. To use premium features you must subscribe to a monthly €6.99/month or annual plan: €3.49/month.
Thankfully you don’t need to stick with Skype. First off, for video conferencing I have found Apple’s FaceTime (free) to have the best quality so this is where I do the actual video conferencing, which is free. Google Plus’ Hangout (also free) supports screen share so that is what I use to share the actual screen.
Relying on monthly subscriptions to drive revenue is terrible. Companies can make more money doing data analytics for businesses, I think. But some companies are filled with financial advisors who just want to make quick easy bucks. Ah well, shortsighted business people abound.

This was one of the first two Metro Food Markets opened by Super Rite in October 1992.The other location was in Perring Plaza: www.flickr.com/photos/mjhale/9587535601/in/photolist-fBdC...
Metro was Super Rite's answer to challenging Giant food. Metro did eventually become number 2 to Giant in the Baltimore region. The whole concept was originally considered a "theater of food". Metro eventually began to put an emphasis on prepared foods, such as having pizza by the slice. In it's later stores, Metro put in Donna's Cafes, which sold soup, salads and sandwiches.
The chain was eventually merged together with Shoppers Food Warehouse and all of the premium features were removed. Quick History: www.fdrama.com/supervalu_link.html

About Amazon Studios’ The Man in the High Castle
Based on Philip K. Dick's Hugo Award-winning 1962 alternative history, The Man in the High Castle considers the question of what would have happened if the Allied Powers had lost World War II. Almost 20 years after that loss, the United States and much of the world has now been split between Japan and Germany, the major hegemonic states. But the tension between these two powers is mounting, and this stress is playing out in the western U.S. Through a collection of characters in various states of posing (spies, sellers of falsified goods, others with secret identities), The Man in the High Castle provides an intriguing tale about life and history as it relates to authentic and manufactured reality. The hour-long dramatic pilot starred Alexa Davalos (Mob City) as Juliana Crain, Luke Kleintank (Pretty Little Liars) as Joe Blake, Rupert Evans (The Village) as Frank Frink, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Mortal Kombat Legacy) as Tagomi, Joel De La Fuente (Hemlock Grove) as Inspector Kido, Rufus Sewell (Eleventh Hour) as John Smith and DJ Qualls (Z Nation) as Ed McCarthy.

I finally upgraded my body to a new 7D. Sure it's not a Canon 5DmkII...but I can finally get serious about pulling in money with this iteration. All my cameras have a Canon/Sigma 50mm 1.4 and motor drives/vertical grips for reference sizes.
Canon A-1: The flagship model for the FD lense series. It has so many dials and switches, it's ridiculous.
Canon Rebel XT: Not their first DSLRs (D2000, D30 had smaller sensors), but this one gained lots of popularity. The viewfinder is so small and distant, plus the 1.8" screen is hard to see detail on (no live view either). Only 7 AF points. While it taught me all about photography, I'm not going to miss it.
Canon 7D: The usurping tyrant that steals a lot of premium features from its prestigious brothers 5D, 1D. I'll spare you all the technical details, but I welcome the magnesium body and its larger/heavier feel. The Rebel XT feels like a toy since it's plastic and smaller.
I was so jealous of my peers having Rebel XS/T1i's, but I finally saved enough money and am glad I skipped 3 generations to obtain this guy. So expect lots of photos again. My ferrets are going to hate me.
May the suffering begin!!! (both you viewers and the ferrets)...

Back in March 2016 Tesco delighted U.K. diecast collectors by reintroducing back to this country new batch post 2013 models in an exciting array of multi-packs, bus and truck singles and Premium singles. Since then it seems to have gone a bit awry with nothing new since then and quite a lot of stores either not restocking them or poorly restocking them! Things are going to get even worse for them as many of the castings found in their Premium singles which cost two pounds each can now be found in Morrisons for literally half the price. No you don't get the fancy packaging but you get the IDENTICAL model with exactly the same Premium features such a this Mercedes-Benz A-Class which even though retails for just a quid retains its opening rear hatch and glossy metallic finish. If Morrisons can update this new Majorette range at fairly frequent intervals instead of the previous THREE YEARS then they will have a hit on their hands! Mint and boxed.

Bumble vs Tinder
Tinder and Bumble are two of the biggest dating apps out there, and they’re pretty similar in the way they work. You scroll through profiles and swipe right or left, depending on whether you like what you see. Despite their similarities, Tinder and Bumble have key differences that really set them apart. If you’re wondering which app is best for you, dating experts share the pros and cons of each.

Especially right now, as in-person socializing is still somewhat limited, “Tinder and Bumble can both be great options for dating,” When comparing the two, it’s important to think about what kind of experience you’re looking for. Although both are dating apps designed to connect you with new people, Tinder gained a reputation early on for being a “hookup app” even though surveys conducted by the company say otherwise. For someone who hasn’t been online dating for a while or is completely new to it, that distinction may cause some hesitation. According to Schiff, “People have come to have a lower expectation of the quality of matches on Tinder, so they may not expect the same level of courtship that they might on an app like Bumble.”
If you’re debating between Tinder and Bumble, here are some things you should know about each dating app.
Should I Use Tinder?
Tinder was first launched on college campuses in 2012, and continues to be one of the most popular dating apps worldwide. It’s available in 190 countries and has been downloaded over 430 million times. Its user base also skews younger; according to Tinder, over 50% of their current members are between the ages of 18 and 25, so it’s a good option for Gen Z folks.

On the plus side, Tinder is user-friendly. You don’t have to answer a long list of questions to start getting matches — you can easily create a profile by adding some photos and writing a good bio. Then you can start swiping. They have premium features available as well, including the Super Like, which can make you stand out among the hundreds of other matches someone may have. There’s also a Tinder Boost feature where you can get up to 10 times more profile views, which can be purchased if you’re a regular user. There are even paid subscription tiers that offer more Super Likes a week, one free Tinder Boost a month, and the opportunity to message people before matching. If you’re traveling, Tinder also has a Tinder Passport feature that allows you to connect with people in other cities before you get there.

With Tinder, there’s no restriction on who gets to make the first move once a match is made. You can start messaging right away, which good be a pro or a con, depending how you look at it. If you’re shy or don’t like to break the ice, this could be a good thing for you. At the same time, “This may lead to someone repeatedly messaging you some explicit things at two in the morning because they’re bored,” Schiff says.
One con is that Tinder has a reputation for being more of a hookup app. “Although plenty of serious couples have found one another on Tinder, some who may be more conservative or looking solely for a monogamous relationship may be less likely to use Tinder as an option,” Martinez says.
It is important to note that Tinder doesn’t consider itself a hookup app. In fact, Many serious couples have found one another on Tinder like Sarah, 25.
“I’ve found most of my relationships via Tinder, and as a 25-year-old queer woman who prefers women/female-presenting, there are many pros and cons,” Sarah tells Bustle. “Tinder is a great way to explore your sexuality, find people who have similar interests, and gain a sense of control over who you date. However, both Tinder and Bumble can be very straight-oriented.”

According to Statista, more than 75% of the app’s users identify as men, so finding women to match with can be more challenging. “Sometimes I’m shown just men and have to keep switching back and forth between ‘everyone’ and ‘women only’ just to have an accurate variety,” Sarah says.
Should I Use Bumble?
Bumble was initially made for dating but has expanded to become a platform for making connections of any kind. They have options to search for friends or career mentors. According to a 2021 Bloomberg report, Bumble had over 42 million active monthly users as of January 2021. Originally, it was designed to be an app that empowers women to make the first move once a match is made. In same-sex or nonbinary matches, there’s no restriction on who can message first.
Using the app is pretty simple. To create a profile, you’ll just need to add some photos and fill out the About Me section, verify your profile so people know you’re really you, and fill out some Basic Info Badges like what you’re looking for, your height, zodiac sign, political affiliation, and more. You can even add your Instagram account or fill out a profile prompt for people to get a better idea of who you are.

They also have paid features and a premium subscription option to help you maximize the experience. These paid offerings include unlimited access to advanced filters like education level, height, and feelings about having kids. Bumble also has a travel mode that allows you to change locations to another city before you get there, an ability to rematch with people whose matches have expired, and more.
“Bumble, in my opinion, is a great option for someone who is newer to online dating and may be looking for something more connected and intimate,” Martinez says. “It requires the woman to make the first move, which is a pro for men as it takes the antiquated pressure off being responsible for small talk or beginning a conversation. It’s also a pro for women who may be more extroverted and willing to let someone know they have interest.” For some, it can also feel like a safer option than other dating apps where anyone can just message you regardless of whether or not you’re a match.

If you’re someone who doesn’t like messaging first, Bumble may not be for you. Although there is an Extend feature that allows matches to show you they’re really interested, you could still miss out on someone great if you don’t take that first step. But according to Schiff, Bumble’s model of restricting who messages first still works because it can result in more quality conversations, dates, and maybe even a long-lasting relationship.

Marisa, 25, from San Antonio has used both Tinder and Bumble and says there are pros and cons to each. “I chose to sign up on Tinder specifically because I had several friends who met their boyfriends there, even though at the time I wasn’t looking for another serious relationship. I liked how easy it was to build your profile, but the simplicity makes it a little harder to select a match based on personality or common interests,” she tells Bustle. For her, matches on Tinder felt a little shallow.
