***Thank you, Weezey Warwillow, for these fantastic pictures! You are freaking amazing***
This is an older figure, but one I thought was worth re-posting, as I lost quite a few images when I let my Pro Account lapse. I really liked how this turned out, and am thinking of making a few more Predators as a result! I really need to order the parts to make several of Catsy's Alien figures!
Anyway - I'll have some fun new stuff coming up soon!
As always, thanks for looking at my figures! Feel free to visit my store if you're looking for custom figures!
These majestic birds of prey roam the Australian skies in the early morning using their keen eyesight to spot fresh roadkill, in this case, a kangaroo.
Thank you for 200 followers!
Ghost Predator is based off the NECA Kenner-Inspired Expanded Universe action figure of the same name.
Seen here:

I used plain white for the skin tone; paint applications in the old Kenner days were quite simple. Any suggestions for a newer printed skin tone, based on the photos from the link?
Overall, I wanted to update the Jungle Hunter mini-figure that I had done a while ago. I was able to add shoulder armor, dreadlocks, and plasma caster to Ghost Predator, while still retaining the original design.
Enjoy the bio, straight from the minds of NECA!
Narrowly escaping a Super Predator raid on his village, the Predator known as Ghost has used his “presumed dead” status to his advantage. He has devoted his life to systematically eliminating the entire race of those responsible for the death of his people. Living in complete solitude, Ghost has taught himself extreme focus and patience, often scouting Super Predator tribes for weeks before a calculated strike. Using specialized thermal dampening netting, he is only seen seconds before a kill. This has caused him to become a subject of Super Predator lore – a “boogie-man” whom his targets fear. The psychological advantage gives Ghost and edge in combat, as his opponents are often fear-stricken upon seeing him. His plasma caster is only for defense: Ghost prefers the death blow of a cleaver sword or smart disc, ensuring that his prey sees him at their moment of death.
Aftermarket parts are from Minifig.Cat, Brick Forge, and Brick Warriors.
THANK YOU!
Female predator. This awesome costume was self made & painted. I think it looks better than the ones used in movies. Predator & Alien costumes won this year's costume competition.

A short while after taking photos of this owl on 8 June 2016, I learned that a dead Great Gray Owl had been found in this general area. I really hope it was not the magnificent bird in this photo or the other Great Gray Owl I saw and photographed not too far away. I don't know if the owl had been hit by a car, or not. Always sad to hear this kind of news.
Had to smile while I was uploading this photo, thinking of what happened while I was taking photos of a Snipe on this day. Occasionally, when I'm along one of the roads SW of the city, friend Pam also happens to come along. So, on 8 June 2016, I had pulled over to take a few photos of a beautiful Wilson's Snipe that was perched on a fence post, when I was suddenly aware of a car pulling up alongside of me - and Pam was who I thought of straight away. However, when I turned to look, I found myself looking into the face of a Police Officer sitting in his Police car!!! Almost always, when I pull over, I turn on my hazard blinkers, or at the very least, the indicator. Didn't that time, so I was feeling very guilty. However, the Police Officer hadn't stopped for that reason. He just wanted to check that I was just taking photos and, I guess, that all was OK. He asked what I was photographing and I pointed out the bird. He said he had wondered if maybe I had seen a bear on the distant hillside (I wish!). Then he apologized for making the bird fly just before he drove off, with a friendly "Take Care" : ) I almost decided to leave for home, but then changed my mind and went in search of (hopefully) an owl. Not a good feeling, though, each time I pulled over, lol!
The feel of goose bumps and half-numbed skin was the most wonderful feeling that day, when I couldn't bear being inside my place one more day. It feels like an oven each summer, but this year, with the crazy weather we have been having, the heat has already been too much. I had already stayed home for three days in a row, as the two day trips at the weekend had totally knocked me out. This day, though, I couldn't take the indoor heat any longer, and so I took a drive SW of the city. By the time I got back home, I felt cold, which was so good. Travelled all my usual roads and back roads, seeing all the usual things, including Wilson's Snipe, Red-winged Blackbirds and Mountain Bluebirds.
When I felt it was time to start on my homeward journey, I reckoned I might as well check one more time for a Great Gray Owl. I almost drove past the one in this photo, as it was on the far side of the road when I first spotted it and, from a distance, just blended in with the light and shadows of the forest. I took a few quick shots, then drove down the road and turned around, hoping that the owl would still be in the same place, which thankfully it was. It eventually flew across the road and landed in a tree or two and then made its way to an open area where it continued to hunt. After a few minutes, it dove into the grass and completely disappeared from sight. I thought I must have missed seeing it fly away, but it eventually did reappear and immediately flew across the road again, with a small rodent in its beak. A quick stop on a fence post (with its back to me, sigh) and then it flew off into the trees. This isn't exactly a good photo, but I was happy I could just see the small rodent in the owl's beak. No matter how many times I see one of these owls and no matter how many hundreds/thousands of photos I've taken of them, each owl is just as exciting as the very first.
Having been so very fortunate to see this owl, I thought I would check one more time to see if the second owl that I saw a few days ago was anywhere in sight. Nothing - but I did watch and photograph a sweet pair of Mountain Bluebirds. Not my 'usual' pair, though I did see them briefly, earlier on my drive.
"Although the Great Gray Owl is the tallest American owl with the largest wingspan, it is just a ball of feathers. It preys on small mammals and has relatively small feet. Both the Great Horned and Snowy owls weigh half again as much, and have larger feet and talons. The oldest recorded Great Gray Owl was at least 18 years, 9 months old and lived in Alberta." From AllABoutBirds.
Experimenting with a Mandelbulb Fractal I made and then put on my laptop screen.
I posed the figure in front of the screen to create this scene.
Added some LUTS and a sunflare in ON1.
This was a fun rainy day experiment.
I guess its a stork......hunting alone on the Mithboan beach.
Bappa (Sanky) thanks for letting me use your camera :)
Immediately when I saw this, The Predator movie popped into my mind! :)

People's concerns for the young lady in the previous posts are definitely warranted because these predators are found everywhere on the bayou!! Not so much around Bay Area Park but a few do hang around in that area even though they have natural fear of man! Have not witnessed an attack personally except for the one that grabbed a fish in mid air as it attempted to jump away!! Never let the size fool you! The largest ones are every bit as quick as the smaller ones!! I have seen them with deer and bits of pig in their mouths!! They have to eat and I will always be fascinated by them, but not fearful of them!! They demand your respect at all times no matter what type of animal you are!! This one was captured on Horsepen Bayou! Just want to add that this one is roughly 11 feet in length...not a small one!

and then this

and i foresee that more will come in the future.
I plan to make it part of a display, wich i am working on and hopefully will bring to our annual RLUG Convention at the end of April.
I still need to do a few small finishing touches here and there, but was overall quite satisfied, so had to post.
The Predator Elite is a medium to heavy warfighter, which will engage any enemy, be it in the air, sea or at the ground, dosn't matter. They are known to be ferocious and know no fear and will engage at any oportunity..........
Please enjoy, and feel free to comment.
My latest WIP. I think it's coming along quite nicely :]
I think for the head, I'm gonna make the helmet pop on like a visor.
I predatori sono l'anello più fragile e al tempo stesso più importante del Sistema vivente. La loro presenza in un biotopo o in un ecosistema ne testimonia il buon stato di conservazione; con una sola eccezione: l'uomo.
Considering I took the photo while in a costume (bandaged face, leather gloves) it didn't come out half-bad. I like playing with angles and lines to denote motion, emotion, and direction - like she's charging at you.
As Dragon Con is fairly crowded, I did have one person sitting down in the background and it took a while to figure out how to paint her out of the picture in a convincing manner.
Did a few things in PS (blurred, sharpened, desaturated the everything except the Predator) to give it an other-worldly feel.
Cosplayer: The lovely Vivica Hallow
When the Empire needs to eliminate a Wookie they hire a specialist, a true predator. They hire Bossk.
Continuing in the movie style I've adopted in Battlefield V recently I present Battlefield Predator. In the 80's style of the movie.

Hanna Delacroix, Wilhelm Franke, Seamus Byrne and Ernst Schubert.
