If you have 3 cubic meters of almost any bulk material, you can reduce this to 1 cubic meter.This gives you major advantages like, easy logistics, efficient storing and excellent conservation. The process starts with bulk material being dumped by shawl or directly by a tractor. Then the material is transported from the feeding table and up to the elevator into the chamber. The material then compress inside the chamber, the two belts inside prevents the small particles from falling out. After the Bale is compressed a layer of plastic film is wrapped around the bale keeping it shape. Last part of the process is wrapping. Bale is transported from the chamber to wrapping table and here the pre selected number of layers of wrapping film is attached. "Farmers and contractors could avoid excessive fertilization and losses of nutrients, which is beneficial for both environment and the farm economy. Although there is the possibility to sample slurry basins for laboratory analysis, representative sampling is not an easy task and stirring of the basins may not be sufficient to ensure homogeneity between spreader loads. Analyzing the slurry quality on-line at a point of narrow passage of the slurry (pipe for filling the spreader or a transport pipe on the spreader during spreading) is the task accomplished by the EvoNIR sensor developed by Dinamica Generale.

Great initiative from a Great Man, Mr. Sarang Nirmal (Chairman-Prabhat Dairy Ltd). Understanding green fodder deficit, one of the biggest challenge of dairy farmers (which deepens during the lean period, resulting in poor nutrition to animals and hence poor productivity and poor quality of milk), Mr. Nirmal decided to work towards solving it & with his vast experience of the dairy farming sector, took the initiative of packing green fodder in compacted silage bales, so it can be preserved for a longer period, has an excellent nutritional value. His initiative will be a game-changer for the dairy farmers community in Maharashtra & for the green fodder industry.
