Angry sky at sunset
Little did I know that there was a tornado warning for our county as I was shooting this.
30 minutes after this shot we did have a loud thunderstorm, but no tornado.

The front-range lighthouse at Port Dalhousie on the shores of Lake Ontario. Was visiting the Niagara-on-the-Lake region and had to make the stop to capture this lighthouse.
I was here the previous evening to shoot a sunset shot but the light wasn't the best so decided to get up early and hope for better conditions in the morning from the opposite side of the pier. My efforts were rewarded with some beautiful pre-dawn skies.
Thanks for viewing and have a great day!
Two jockeys leave the weighing-in room, heading to the ring to mount up. Seldom do I see a smile from these men and women, as they prepare mentally for what's ahead on the course. Seen in Co. Mayo, Ireland.
Nothing like a beautiful pre-dawn sky with some heavy valley fog to transform a familiar location into a place of mystery, beauty and inspirational rejuvenation. Photographed from the main trail in the La Crosse Blufflands, La Crosse County, Wisconsin.
Another pov showing just how far the erosion spreads. Pretty much from Noosa down to the Gold Coast the beaches look like this. Of course still lots of crazy surfers out up this way.
....it was dark along the beach as dawn broke spreading golden shades across the horizon mingling with clouds as the sea rolled in.

The new Beach Huts on Whitby sea wall, just before dawn. We'd chosen the wrong venue and the sky wasn't in the right place!
This was taken a couple of weeks back. Tom and I went back to Sunrise. It was early in the am, Tom didn’t want to go down the trail and I said, “oh… I’ll only go a little ways and grab a shot then come back.” Well I came back alright. Just after I took this scene I stood up and started to go around a bend in the trail and there he was… a big, brown, hairy bear. I want you to know that I am not near as brave as I thought I was. The camera was in my hand but my feet took over and back to the car. Tom said we were heading back to find him. I didn’t mind for I knew I couldn’t outrun the bear but I can outrun my hubby…
