My photos from out trip to Sarahan early in April this year did not turn out too well because of the bad weather.However I thought that my friends would find this house interesting because of its quaint architecture.Nobody seemed to be living in it but some local person told us it was the property of the royal family of Sarahan.
Sarahan is a very picturesque little village slightly off the road from Shimla to Kinnaur at a distance of some 170 kms from Shimla.It is at a height of above 7000 feet and there are apple orchards all around.Sarahan commands magnificient views of the snow-covered Himalayas.Unfortunately it rained most of the time we stayed there.
