This is an art installation, actually--sitting in the middle of nowhere in Texas. If you want to buy one of the shoes on display, you are bound to be disappointed. There is no entry, and in any case, there is only one of each shoe on display, so unless you happen to be an amputee . . . .
I passed by here in Dec. 2018, and took several photos, but it was fairly dark and I didn't think any of the resulting pics were worthy of being uploaded.
BTW--though "Marfa" is part of the title of this work, it's actually a good deal to the northwest of Marfa, Texas. In fact it's a mile or so west of the tiny, decaying town of Valentine.
Prada Store, Marfa Texas.

By the way, here is an excellent aerial shot of the Prada Marfa environs by SouthwestUSA, to give you an idea of the desolate location...
Dusk, one pop of a natural strobe from camera left.

'FAKE' for Macro Mondays.
These pearls are really just beads. The red and black handbag with the Prada logo was a recent charity shop find. Still, you can dream....

Texas Highway 90, about 2 miles northwest of Valentine, Texas and 35 miles northwest of Marfa.
I was out and about town last night with my mom and saw "The Devil Wears Prada" We both wanted to see it for different reasons but liked it!!! I'm into fashion like most girls...but PRADA was the last thing mentioned in the movie!!! LOL!!! I'm really not into Prada...not my style...I maybe like a few acessories...here & there but I am an acessories freak anyways!! Prada is to BOLD for me.
...So I love Anne Hathaway...she did a great job...OFCOURSE it was about her character and her introduction into this fashion world she has no idea about...since she gets hired as a fashion magazine assistant...she struggles and it's just a funny...great flick for all those Fashionista's...out there!!! My mom & I enjoyed it!!!
