We found this ball rolling toward our car during batting practice before the game. The game for tonite: Washington Wildthings vs. the Slippery Rock Sliders.
I've yet to get a kiss shot, so Laura and Ryan obliged in helping me try to obtain that.

To get good at something, we need to practice. I was once told by my tennis coach that practice makes permanents, not perfect. We are far from perfect in the things we do as improvements can always be made. That piece of advice, 14 years ago, is something that stuck with me to this day. Which brings me to today's picture. The picture taken is what I'm guessing is a kendo practice dummy. If it's not, then well, you still got a good piece of advice.
It may not look like it, but they're all holding onto a reflector that's underneath the frame, reflecting light back onto themselves. I absolutely cannot stress enough how much of a difference those white sheets of poster material made in this shoot.
General backstory for this shoot: I watched Peter Hurley's DVD recently and wanted to try some stuff out, and got some friends together to help me experiment. We did some headshots as best I could, and some other random stuff as well. Definitely a lot I could improve on, that's for sure.
