Weather hampered Saturday practice this year at the Duryea Downhill, a cold chill was in the air with on and off rain. The riders however didn't let the weather bother them, blasting down the side of Mt. Penn and taking in all the course had to offer this year, 2017 also saw the return of the set of jumps known as the Airlines.

Baybayin and Latin alphabets. Inks are an unbranded violet calligraphy ink I bought at AC+632, and Private Reserve Shoreline Gold. Pens are Pilot Parallel in 2.4 and 6.0mm.
Practicing perspective, an area I need to improve in really well. The first try at this was a mess, but the second go was ok.
Panning practice for CharsShots as well as a dry run for the horsie. Good thing they don't know I ghosted off two of his legs in my attempt! This is definitely not a first-timer's sport (panning I mean. We had newbies' luck at the parimutuel window). I knew, after the fact, that I shot too slow. It was a nice bright day so I could have done better with my settings. Other attempts failed for other reasons but it was sure fun to try!

Another practice session at Longview MX in Longview, WA I'm 40 years old and just learning to ride a dirt bike. My biggest hurdle is not being brave enough to ride faster!
I am told I look serious and my tone is appropriate for grave scenarios like disaster, plague and death. Call me if one of the above happens to you and you need a press conference.

just practicing with photoshop today. I finally got my color select action to work properly and since I have nothing better to do, I decided to work on this.
She practiced that look. It's the exact same expression and shoulder shrug as on the famous pin-up photo.
