Taken last week over in Peoria. There are four of these guys and gals running around. This was taken in the late afternoon on a sunny day, but there was some decent shade in the tiger area.

I had fun yesterday using SculpeyIII. I need to practice making these a bit smaller, and use longer pins and then I'm "going into business" hopefully selling these at my local quilt shop. (Too bad the owner hasn't even heard of my plan yet. LOL)

I recently acquired a, quite rare, Rollinear no2 close-up accessory for my Rolleiflex 2.8F twin lens reflex camera. The Rolleinar comprises two auxillary lenses. One lens fits over the main taking lens of the camera and allows closer focusing. A second lens, with a prism, fits over the camera's viewing lens and allows you to focus correctly and compensates for parallax.
Normally, the closest focusing distance of the 80mm Xenotar taking lens is about 1m. With the Rolleinar no2 attached, it will focus in the range 33cm to 50cm. You can also get a weaker Rolleinar no1 or a stronger Rolleinar no3. Using a Rolleinar drastically reduces DOF.
This picture is from my first roll using the Rolleinar no2.

This young Bald Eagle stretches it's wings and practices flight in the safety of it's nest. There are three young eagles in this nest, which is getting pretty crowded as they have grown as large as their parents, who continually bring food back to the nest (I've observed them bring fish, ducks and many turtles back to feed the eaglets)

My son practicing his guitar. Tri-X Processed with Rodinal (1:25) for 7 minutes. I like the contrast (it's a bit contrasty) and the grain isn't as bad as I thought it might be.
These are photos taken on my trip to Europe and the UK with a girl friend in October to November 2012. My camera I had then wasn't good with low light so some of these shots are not great but I have put them as my memories of the trip.
We arrived in late morning in Bath by train from London. Spent one night there and most of the next day.

Bath is in the valley of the River Avon, 97 miles west of London and 11 miles southeast of Bristol. The city became a World Heritage site in 1987.
