I wanted to practice some shots of rings, for when the Weddings start lining up. This is actually the ring I gave Liz our first year of dating. I just loved how the bokeh looked in this one. It is a silver band with 3 diamonds accounting for one karat or so.

Yoga practice for beginners is an excellent way to unlock the many benefits of yoga and improve your overall mind and body health. Yoga is a powerful form of exercise that can be used to improve your physical and mental wellbeing. Yoga can help strengthen your core muscles, increase flexibility, reduce stress, improve concentration, and even help you get better sleep. With regular practice, you can begin to experience the many benefits that yoga has to offer.

Before beginning a yoga practice, it’s important to understand the basics of the practice. Begin by familiarizing yourself with the different types of poses and breathing techniques used in yoga. Start by finding a yoga class that works for your schedule and level of experience. It’s also a good idea to buy the right equipment, such as yoga mats and blocks, to ensure your practice is comfortable and safe. uniquesblog.com/what-is-yoga-and-what-are-the-benefits/

“The Practice” is a comic following the trial and error of a lacrosse player. The topic of the demise or fall was used to show the determination and intensity of the protagonist during his journey. The setting of this work had been abstracted to be series of shapes that reflect the emotion of the main character. The player repeatedly misses the net in his attempt to become a better player. Eventually the protagonist shoots the ball perfectly and accomplishes his goals.

The idea of trial and error is relatable to just about anyone who has been driven to improve in a craft. The stars do not simply align without any effort from the individual, but must be pushed with great force. I found a personal connection to the idea of practicing something over and over again or being faced with adversity and failure.

Playing the sport of lacrosse has been fundamental in my development as an adult. The values taught within the sport are imperative to being a progressive and driven individual. The world may be my oyster, but in order to take advantage of the opportunities presented in life, one must be able to fail over and over, but not lose confidence or a sense of purpose. Lacrosse, much like any sport, hobby, or trade is an incredible outlet to experience that failure that is vital to being successful. I believe that much more is learned from failure, rather than victory. This is a principle that stretches far beyond lacrosse.

The player in this work fails in his attempt to shoot the ball into the net, but does not let that failure stop him from trying his hardest. In the end, the player achieves his goals, proving that determination is the greatest key to success.

Flo takes her driver's test on July 10, so we're getting in as much parking practice as we can en route to the community college, since the cones are conveniently set up there.

More practice with a dagger brush and I love it and see why Liz Steel loves it too. I am now waiting with her for Rosemary to make the 1/2 inch ( and maybe a 1/4 inch?) in their travel brush. I just keep learning and trying. Would be great to get to the place where I could touch once and be done as I achieved in the blue flowers. More practice, more practice.

Must be that time of year...

Day 71 of 365 - The day before her fourth birthday my daughter mastered self propelled swinging! I had a try at panning, but the results were pants! Of the images that remained after a mass cull I gave my daughter free reign to choose one for Flickr. She quite rightly picked the one of her swinging the highest, despite it being the poorest example of panning ever in existence! Still, her practice paid off and the results should be celebrated, I however need much more practice!

Caught some nice stuff during the rehearsals, even though the weather was a bit sketchy. LOTS of humidity, as you can see.
