The Political Design workshop organised at the Trafo Museum of Contemporary Art, Budapest, Hungary in February 2012 was about the possibilities, resources and methods for the communication of political thinking, held by international designers and theoreticians. Willard Sheets will graduate Cum Laude with dual Bachelor's of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The Entrepreneur Summit is an inspirational, educational and motivational experience that provides useful insights and practical knowledge on the key challenges facing today’s small business owners and not-for-profit organization visionaries. The purpose of the summit is to engage, empower and enrich participants so that they are better prepared to make their ventures successful.

 

The speakers are all successful entrepreneurs in their own way, whether as owners of small businesses, leaders of not-for-profit organizations, or media personalities whose entrepreneurship happens daily in the way they market their unique skills to find new opportunities. Their knowledge and experience will benefit the entrepreneurs, students, executives, and aspiring professionals who attend this summit.

Children of Class 1 had a very interesting activity recently. They were taken by their teachers on a visit to the neighbourhood. The ‘Neighbourhood Walk’ gave them practical knowledge about real life. The activity also helped to foster values like respect for all, keeping places clean and being polite.

They visited Chandan Public Park, The police station, Temple, Shanti Asiatic School, SAL Hospital and even the saw the TV tower. This completed the circuit of facilities present in the school neighbourhood in terms of a park, a police station, a place of worship, a hospital and recreation.

🎯 Morning Session: An enlightening lecture on “Bringing People to the Negotiation Table: Assumptions and Associated Risks” led by the esteemed Professor Helet Botha. Throughout the session, our fellows are guided in the concept of 'the effectual ask' and focus on the role of assumptions in bringing people to the negotiation table. They also explored the assumptions about others' motivations and how these assumptions can impact their ability to initiate negotiations, addressing potential barriers to effective communication.

 

📚 Afternoon Workshop: Sharing Success from YSEALI Academy Alumni

It was so amazing to meet Marcus Wong, Martius Rua and Gracia Kelana again. They are YSEALI Academy Alumni who attended the last Entrepreneurship Seminar 2022 Born Globals and winners of final pitch. They came a long way to Ho Chi Minh city to share their inspiring success stories and experiences. It was an opportunity to learn from their journeys and gain practical knowledge that will propel their own impact ventures forward.

 

️ Evening Panel Discussion: Impact Investing The day concluded with an enriching panel discussion on impact investing. Esteemed panelists shared their expertise, experiences, and insights into the world of impact investing, and shared a common dedication to building an inclusive and sustainable impact ecosystem.

 

Day 4 was an inspirational day to embrace negotiations, leverage the wisdom of YSEALI Academy alumni, and explore the realm of impact investing.
