Following the Practical Photography course - Month 1, black and white photography - Decided this shot was the best of a poor bunch. Off camera flash in manual mode with aperture stopped down to black out the background. Camera set to save RAW + B&W JPG. This is the unedited JPG file except for some crop and resize.

this is me, as a guru veteran, a dummy model, a mangsa lah, for experiment
with fill-in-flash. while i was explaining what to do, de orang pun shoot
lah sayer sekali, jadikan model. glad that our experiment works well.

On 10 March 2015, the Jumpmaster students conduct and Admin Non-Tactical jump after completing the Practical Work in the Aircraft (PWAC) Exam. The PWAC Exam tests the students ability to issue Hand and Arm Signals, and Time Warnings, perform a Paratroop Door Check and Issue Jump Commands. Here I'm sketching parts of a hand (using my hand as reference) so that I can join it up later to make a movable hand puppet, with all the joints moving.

Practical: no need for a table at the buffet.
Impractical: do not think about using the toilet.
As I walked past these valets it was pretty funny as I could see that they were getting through the shift at each others' expense.
