Kierskie Lake is a postglacial channel lake, located at the western border of Poznań. It is one of the largest lakes in Wielkopolska.
The water surface area according to different sources has about 300.0 ha, and its average depth is about 11.0 m, with a maximum of 34 to 37 m. The coastline is over 12 km long.
It is a well-known center of water sports - sailing and ice-boating. Every year on the Kierskie Lake there are swimming competitions "Wpław przez Kiekrz".

Jezioro Kierskie jest jeziorem rynnowym polodowcowym, położone przy zachodniej granicy Poznania. Jest jednym z największych jezior w Wielkopolsce.
Powierzchnia zwierciadła wody według różnych źródeł ma około 300,0 ha, zaś jego głębokość średnia wynosi około 11,0 m, przy maksymalnej od 34 do 37 m. Linia brzegowa ma długość ponad 12 km.
Jest znanym w kraju ośrodkiem sportów wodnych - żeglarskiego i bojerowego. Co roku na Jeziorze Kierskim odbywają się zawody pływackie "Wpław przez Kiekrz".
City Hall in Poznan is a Renaissance building standing at Poznan Old Market. It first appeared in documents in 1313 as Domus consulum years. He was repeatedly rebuilt and destroyed by fire and lightning.
The current appearance dates from the late 18th century. During the battle of Poznań in 1945 City Hall suffered serious damage and the tower collapsed. Renovations were conducted in the years 1945 -1954. It restored the Renaissance style façade.

Ratusz w Poznaniu jest budynkiem renesansowym stojącym na poznańskim Starym Rynku. Po raz pierwszy pojawił się w dokumentach w 1313 roku jako Domus consulum. Był wielokrotnie przebudowywany oraz niszczony przez pożar i uderzenie pioruna.
Obecny wygląd pochodzi z końca XVIII wieku. Podczas walk o Poznań w 1945 r. ratusz poważnie ucierpiał a wieża zawaliła się. Renowację przeprowadzono w latach 1945-1954. Przywrócono wówczas renesansowy charakter elewacji.
Voorafgaand aan de passage van de Ludmilla van DB Cargo met haar graantrein, passeerden er nog een aantal andere leuke treinen op deze vrij zonnige namiddag / vroege avond. Vrijwel alle treinen betroffen omgeleide treinen vanuit Tsjechië die door de grootschalige werkzaamheden bij Magdeburg hun omleidingsroute vonden via Leipzig om vervolgens via Halle weer in Magdeburg te belanden. Over het algemeen werden de treinen van en naar Polen via Stendal en Berlijn omgeleid, maar LTE koos ervoor om meermaals met haar Poznan-Shuttle naar beneden te duiken en ook via Leipzig te rijden. We hadden de voorgaande dagen de betreffende verbinding al een aantal keer voorbij zien komen, maar een leuke zonplaat had er nog niet ingezeten. Gelukkig kwam daar in Schkeuditz verandering in toen voor het eerste de trein náár Nederland via Leipzig reed. Deze was namelijk tot op heden wel via Stendal en Berlijn gereden maar omdat er in Bitterfeld van loc gewisseld moest worden was het vervolgens sneller om via Leipzig en dus ook voorbij Schkeuditz te rijden.
Het is 16:02 als de LTE 186 942 "atTRACKtive Forces" Schkeuditz achter haar laat onderweg zijnde met Poznan-Shuttle 41350 naar Rotterdam Europoort en uiteindelijk de P&O Terminal. Volgens de planning zou de LTE 286 940 in opzending meelopen, maar toen de trein ons passeerde bleek dit dus niet het geval en zodoende kon ik voor de derde keer de LTE 186 942 met de Poznan-Shuttle vastleggen!
