These two photographs show the Swamp Gator Kiddie Roller Coaster at the Palm Harbor Carnival. Arnolds Amusements, Inc., is the Traveling Carnival, which set up the Midway. The Carnival was set up near Florida Avenue and Alternate Route 19 (aka: Bayshore Blvd.) in Downtown Palm Harbor, FL.
Photograph Number 1 Shows the Front of the Ride, including the Large Mural above it, while photograph 2 shows the back side of the ride,along with the White backside of the Mural. Also notice the Zero Gravity (Adult Ride) behind the Kiddie Roller Coaster.
I had gone to Downtown Palm Harbor that Morning to get a Haircut and was surprised to see the Carnival had been set up on several streets on several city blocks in Palm Harbor.
I normally park on the Florida Avenue very close to the Barber Shop (between 12th & 11th Streets), however I had to park two blocks away because the carnival completely occupied the street in front of the Barber Shop & for several blocks around it.
Luckily, I had my Camera with me (so after my Haircut), I strolled around the area taking Photographs of the Carnival Attractions, which were still being Set-Up !
This image was taken earlier in the summer about a block from my house. I've had it in my upload to Flickr folder for a long time and somehow it always gets bumped. It's raining buckets outside right now and it just seems like a good time to share it with y'all. The blossoms are the top of a Crepe Myrtle Tree that continues to flower.

The infamous Monk Parakeets of White Rock Lake that have taken to nesting at a transformer station. There are less than I have seen before. Noticed some Starlings have been mobbing the smaller birds nests up on the cell towers.
Also posted for "Break the Rules Challenge" in CC group. Placing something almost dead center is generally considered against the rules. I break this all the time when photographing small birds.
