Aliens final battle revisited. I did this scene a while back in minifig scale.
Belville shoe used for alien queen head. The flipper idea was originally used by Legohaulic, so credit to him ;)
8 piece queen and 5 piece powerloader. I'm not entirely sure the arms on the queen are necessary but without them she looks a bit plain.
So here is a shot of the whole hangar. A medical bay with a control tower and a central crane for transporting the med-pods. The Exosuit is a powerloader-version used primarily for assisting when the pods are being moved (and is of course inspired by the awesome work by Peter Reid). I have made two different versions of exosuits as well as a walker. Will be posting pics of them all later on. I have also made instructions for them which will be found for free on the BriXtar-app in a little while.
Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys are proud to bring you the first ever, 1:6 scale Power Loader collectible, produced as a fully-poseable model kit. The Power Loader is large enough to fit a 12-inch figure inside, true to 1:6 scale, and includes an electronic light-up working warning signal light. This highly detailed, highly-articulated model is sure to be the centerpiece of your Aliens collection.
Another shot with Ripley in the Powerloader & the Queen. All three are from NECA.
I do not want to risk breaking the powerloader or the Ripley figure by trying to make the extra hands fit around the handles.
Version 1.
There are already some awesome Power Loaders out there like those from Larry Lars and ninbendo.
I wanted to have a go and try to get a small scale loader close to the one used by Ripley. The leg mod allows for a small amount of articulation.
Version 2 of the Billund-Class Powerloader allows us to tackle construction projects on a totally different scale.

I did no research for this model. Obviously it's a nod to Aliens and the Matrix (and WH40k Sentinels). But I didn't look at a single reference picture till it was done.
The NCS: Mobile Anti-Space-Debris Exo-Frame. [M.A.S.D.E.F.] or 'Mastiff' - as it's called in the outer rim.
At once a useful tool for removing pesky asteroids from your LL-Class Starship's path, and a powerful defensive suit in those tense extra-terrestrial encounters! The M.A.S.D.E.F. if an all-in-one powerful extension of any human crew member.
Also available in 'Loader' Format- Coming Soon!
My entry for the #BricksandBeer #9BrickMech contest. I love this little guy! Featuring prototype Brickarms in the over-shoulder extensions, and some woooonderful test-shot #Bionicle I was gifted💜 for the blast effects.

After building the Colonial Marine APC from Aliens I knew I had to build this as the second MOC in my series of cool stuff from Aliens.
There's a lot of challanges in the task of depicting the Power Loader for minifigs. How to capture the iconic look of a vehicle built around a human and with the human body as the guide for it's movement.
So, no arms alongside the robot arms and the joints for the lower legs is the knee and foot combined if you know what I mean. The hip joints is aligned to the hips of the fig, so that both fig legs and robot legs moves together.
The tubes from the arms is connected to clips on the back after posing the arms so that the arm position is locked in place.

Tried out the NECA Powerloader when I first got it. While I had the Queen, I wanted to keep it in its packaging, but I was paying off another one to open to take photos of, but at this time, I just tried out with a MacFarlane Alien. The NECA Ripley is in the Powerloader.
