For her, a morning means a day in the hell, where she wants to die everyday.
But ends up in a long night's sleeping under the open sky.
Just to begin another day in the hell.
The mornings have always been like this, or that. Sometimes scorching sun, sometimes biting rain, trains sound....wakes her up. She silently opens her eyes, and move somewhere else.
Its heartbreaking to see people suffer, but truth is none of us are doing anything substantial for them.
When i asked, she could hardly speak. She looked tired, exhausted, malnourished and helpless. She don't even want to talk with someone.
She asked me for a little money by that she can buy some food for living.
I gave a little money from my wallet.
People thinks she is a street mad or something like that. But she is not. She is looking like this because of Famine of Food.
Thank you all so much for your visits and for any comments/faves you choose to make - very much appreciated!

After drinking and playing cards all day with friends in a shed intended (but not used) as a public market, a man leaves with 100 Pesos (about US$ 2) to buy more liquor.
This money is enough to buy about 2 liters of cheap whiskey. In the Philippines alcohol is taxed at very low rates.
Dierdre's been out of doors for the past two months and has been trying to get into a long-term treatment program. During the polar vortex, she only had canvas shoes, and they froze. She went to a local ER but only for a few hours rest before being turned out onto the street again. "I've never been that cold in my life," she says, "I never wanna go thru that again."

This image is rather misleading. On the surface, and to the uninformed, this looks like an image of abject poverty; a lonely and sad woman in what appears to be a slum. In reality, the bustling market was closed for the day and moments later she greeted a friend with a big warm smile. Context is everything!

In spite of everything, the little beggar still manages a smile and seems to be thinking of better things in life.

In the street in Dharavi.
Asia's largest slum, Dharavi, lies on prime property right in the middle of India's financial capital, Mumbai (Bombay).
It is home to more than a million people. Many are second-generation residents, whose parents moved in years ago.
Today's Dharavi bears no resemblance to the fishing village it once was. A city within a city, it is one unending stretch of narrow dirty lanes, open sewers and cramped huts.
In a city where house rents are among the highest in the world, Dharavi provides a cheap and affordable option to those who move to Mumbai to earn their living.
Rents here can be as low as 185 rupees ($4/£2.20) per month. As Dharavi is located between Mumbai's two main suburban rail lines, most people find it convenient for work.
Even in the smallest of rooms, there is usually a cooking gas stove and continuous electricity.
[...] The most terrible poverty is loneliness, and the feeling of being unloved [...]

Forodhani Orphanage
The greatest cause of abandoned children in Zanzibar is poverty. Many kids that have been left without parents are put up in this orphanage. The building was an English Club and Indian School, before it became an orphanage (established 1964).
Spice Island
Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous part of the United Republic of Tanzania, in East Africa. The archipelago was once a separate state until it was united with Tanganyika to form Tanzania in 1964. It's main industry are spices in particular cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and pepper. For this reason the islands are sometimes called the Spice Islands.

UNESCO
Zanzibar City, and its historic center, known as Stone Town, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Due to the fact that Stone Town has a great symbolic importance in the suppression of slavery, since it was one of the main slave-trading ports in East Africa and also the base from which its opponents such as David Livingstone conducted their campaign.
