Before the fires in this scenic Santa Rosa, California area this group held annual potluck suppers and Cherry Pit Spitting contests.
When I was growing up, after spending time at my grandparents house and saying our farewells, my grandfather would often proclaim âGood skillâ instead of âGood luck.â He always reminded us that hard work, learning, and knowledge would offer a far better chance in life than just being lucky. If you want real luck, youâre going to have to work for it. This is something I remind myself of regularly!
FL Class 66 No. 66597 passes through Cogan Junction near Penarth on the 4V47 Tilbury Barry Docks intermodal. Sadly, nowadays freight on the Vale of Glamorgan line is virtually non existant. . A further blow is that it looks like this working now only runs twice a week. Until recently, it ran Mondays to Thursdays. The Dow Chemicals factory in Barry has confirmed it is axing 220 jobs which might explain the reduced workings. Getting a fully loaded train is potluck. My third shot at this spot, the other two, both empty.

The theme of the potluck was "Kinky Boots" (we watched the movie, which used to be one of my mom's favorites) and everyone was supposed to bring something decadent and/or sexy to eat.
Getting ready to leave for an Emerald City meeting and potluck. It ended up with a good turnout and my chicken & rice dish was a big hit.
I like to make a skillet full of whatever I can find in the frig or garden. Just throw them all together and they usually turn out pretty tasty.
Expandable waist for eating
From the end of 2012 until the end of 2018, I worked from a home office. While I did not miss the drama of working in an office full of people, I did miss the free food!
These are potluck pants because they have an expandable waist. I put them to the test with a goodbye potluck for a team member.

Trying out a new lipstick color. I don't really like it. I have really been struggling with lip color. I just can't find ones that work. Too light, too dark, too matte, etc. I see them, I like them, I buy them, and ultimately I hate them. I'm getting frustrated as you can tell.

Who doesn’t love the vibe of a lesbian potluck? For Pride of the Gaystone, we hung out and talked about our feelings while DJs Secret Agent, Casey Mecija, Jen Markowitz & Andi Larocca played all your favorite jams. Joined by special guest Jiggly Caliente to celebrate Miss Fluffy Souffle’s birthday with a cake eating contest!

snap peas. tomatoes. huckleberries. toasted cashews. nasturtium, pansy, calendula & cilantro blossoms.
all on top of a huge bed of mixed lettuces, kales, and swiss chard.
Monster High Weekly Photo Challenge was Random. What is more Random Than a Potluck:) All the ghouls were surprised to know that the great burgers and hotdogs supplied by Draculaura and Venus were VEGAN!

It took so long to setup, I had to take several pictures from different angles. The great Gargoyle CAM is by milk and bunny. Draculaura on the coolers is Happy Dolls and Draculaura waiting in line is by Elfinhugs. Frankie Stein is by an artist in Canada, if someone knows her work, let me know as she did not send a card and I have forgotten her name:( The Abbey is by an artist in South America, same thing.
