I was supposed to be here in Torridon this last week but as that's been put on hold I'll have to make the most of last year's photos.

I'm late with my photo today (late for me, not for the rest of you!). Since it's almost 1.00am here in the east of the great southern land, I must bid you goodnight and postpone my pleasure in looking at all your BEAUTIFUL MM photos until tomorrow (which is already today). HMM to you all!
So since the whole Covid thing happened I had to postpone my trip to Greece and I was looking for places within US that I could go without boarding on a plane. The Finger Lakes region in New York State stood out to me for its beautiful scenery and the variety of things that I could do. Lots of rivers flowing through mountains and hills so naturally there are a ton of waterfalls in the area. I took this photo as I was hiking up the gorge trail in Watkins Glen State Park. More photos from this hike to follow as there were some really amazing waterfalls along the way. Fortunately, due to corona virus, the trail wasn't too crowded so I felt closer to nature as I was following the path.

There is no worse feeling than the one that comes over you when you see the enemy invading your garden without warning and you hear a little soul say "But the poor things are so beautiful, why do you want to destroy them?"
This particular enemy came from South Africa. Its official name is Oxalis pes-caprae, but we know it as soursop. If you look around at such a time you will see the fields and gardens flooded with their eye-popping bright yellow color. Did someone say the enemy has to be a coward? On the contrary, the more attractive the more dangerous... the more it prompts us to postpone the counterattack. "I'll let them bloom first, now that the garden doesn't have much color, and then pull them out," a friend of mine told me recently. What to tell her? Even if they bloom, they will spread their seeds even further and then you'll do well!

The warm weather continues and the cats have changed to a summer schedule which means that they hide in the shade during most of the afternoon and postpone activities to the evening. For some reason the stones in front of the basement windows have become a favourite place of the Dragon lately. Maybe it's because they stay cool.

This proud parent was very attentive to the chicks pleading sounds for food. He was back and forth on this lovely evergreen tree and disappearing every few minutes into the branches. You could hear delicate and lovely peeps and chirps from the nest inside.
Because of my daughter's exposure to Covid, we had to postpone our celebration a week until she had a negative PCR test. My son joined us on Zoom.

San Francisco was the last city that I visited (in September 2019) in the pre-pandemic era. Six months later, any travel plans which I (and several of us) had contemplated were essentially terminated or postponed indefinitely.
Enjoy an aerial of California's fourth largest city (by population). In 2018, the construction of the Salesforce Tower headquarters (center of the image) permanently altered what was -- for almost 50 years -- San Francisco's familiar skyline which was previously dominated by the Transamerica Pyramid (to the right of Salesforce Tower), a renowned and readily recognizable landmark.
The Salesforce Tower remains an emblem of contention with San Francisco locals as many fear its construction will propel and proliferate the "Manhattanization" of the City by the Bay, inevitably transforming it into a replica of New York City on America's northeastern shores.
Farther off in the background, you can see the silhouette of the Golden Gate Bridge standing boldly against the late afternoon fog over the bay.

COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2 is attacking all over the world. Japan is no exception, and everyday is becoming more difficult. As a photographer, I also thought about life and postponed the exhibition according to the government's request. The Japanese government does not support artists. So I decided to hold an online photo exhibition. This is free to watch.
The photo exhibition should be in the dark in the room at night, preferably with the playlist. Look at the brightness of mobile terminals at 1/3.
