Aquí, no pierdo la oportunidad de promover el proyecto donde estoy trabajando actualmente: Compras Estatales.
Lástima que se ha abandonado un poco la publicidad del mismo, pero creo que es un gran proyecto gubernamental que nos brinda "transparencia" en las compras del Estado, pero también, un mercado de negocios para ser proveedor del propio Estado.
Con esto aproveché para afirmarme en varios puntos:
1) 100% desarrollado con Software Libre (incluye PHP, PostgreSQL, Apache, GNU/Linux, etc), volviendo a repetir mi frase "el Estado uruguayo usa más Software Libre del que creemos" (aunque les duela a los fanáticos que siempre están argumentando que el Estado usa enteramente software propietario).
2) Siempre se critica que el Estado discrimina al pedir productos (solicitándolos por nombre de producto, marca o empresa, en vez de solo características). Bueno, este es el mejor lugar para luchar reclamando que no se haga, "desde dentro del sistema".
3) Fuente de trabajo; mostré algún ejemplo de solicitudes de servicios informáticos por parte del Estado que, o solicitan Software Libre, o los mismos se pueden hacer perfectamente con él, compitiendo con el "Software Privativo".
