After my walk along the waterfront area of Seattle, I decided to trot my way back up Pike Place Hill and then down along the cobbled streets of Post Alley. Post Alley was pretty cool, although shorter than I was hoping it would be.
Post got a new friend today. He is an Eep. We call him Pleep the Eep!!
Eeps are lurking at agreencat on etsy!!!
Thank you Cat :))
I don't know the former function of the posts, which don't extend to the end of the parkway on S. Lowe Ave., just north of W. 32nd St.

Wellington Post Office at 221 S. Washington Avenue in Wellington Kansas. It was built in 1912 and it is extremely elaborate for the size of Wellington. Once the site was selected locals complained it was too far from the Central Business District. It housed the post office until 1965 when a newer building was constructed closer to the center of the business district on W. Harvey. It is now home to the Wellington School District.
It is a contributing building in the Downtown Wellington Historic District.
NRIS #07000600. Added in 2007.
For more information, building is #35:

Remains of an old post and rail fence on a farm in North Eastern Victoria, Australia. I had mentioned to the farmer, on leaving the property that I would like to return to spend more time amongst the old machinery & other relics. When I did return later in the year everything was either ploughed in or cleaned up, so as not to attract interest from bloody photographers.
