Skyline Drive Prefab House by POST, designed by the very talented Van Auster.
This inspiring house fits on an small landplot, but from the inside it has an wide open view, the textures used are uber realistic, nice shaded where needed.
Comes with an fireplace, house controle and, never seen before this... you get 5 ( yes ,5 ) houses in one set !
Each house has an other doorway ( 5 different options for the stairs on the front ) and this is what the designer said about it, "This house was constructed intending to sit on a hill. Since no hill is uniform, you will probably want to make modifications to the entrance. To help in modifications of the entrance to fit your land, several textures have been provided. "
And so, you get 5 houses ;o)) Super cool idea !
More houses can be found at the mainstore, some modern, some Asian styled, there are some amazing churches, even if you dont need an house, worth a visit !

Kolomya is one of the pearls of Galicia that has always been an important city of the province, starting from the pre-Austrian times. Nowadays it is just a county center of the Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine but the past days’ glory still exists! Many Ukrainian poets, writers, composers and musicians originate from here. Famous Lemberg-Vienna based writer Sacher Masoch wrote a lot about a very special charm of this town. These photographs don’t show the most beautiful places and buildings, but rather hidden and unknown. As photography is just my hobby I can afford shooting and publishing what is interesting to me, what I like, hate, laugh at or what inspires me.

MOC: Post Office. A modern interpretation of the classic set 6689, "Post-Station".
There's a mailbox integrated in the facade, as on the original set from 1985. The stickers are the same style as the originals, but these come from MiniStickers.nl - they're selling a nice sheet with various mail-related stickers, including a copy of the sign with the opening hours and that nice 1x6 "POST OFFICE" sign.
Eggleston, Virginia, first settled in 1745, was the first permanent settlement in Giles County. After hot springs were found in the area, on the New River, a spa was built and survived into the 1900's. The town reached its peak in the first part of the 20th century when it was considered to be the hub of trade in Giles County. Its now a village of about 300 people with only a store, an upscale restaurant and a firehouse. I drove through this beautiful area but couldn't find my way to the Pallisades, cliffs that drop to the river. I did find a public road beside the river that went in the direction but there were large pieces of cardboard nailed to the trees at the roadside with the message "STAY OUT - THIS MEANS YOU!" written on them. So I did.

The Lamp Post is a DHARMA Initiative station located in a basement chamber beneath a church in Los Angeles, California in the United States. The station's purpose is to determine the Island's most probable location in space and time and identify windows of opportunity to travel there. It is the only known DHARMA station to exist off of the Island.

Green tape emblazoned with "Opened by Australia Post for inspection by Customs." is my worst nightmare when expecting a shipment of postcards, as it means the contents of the envelope will be either damaged or missing. Guaranteed. In the case of "Wache 9", a 100 year old postcard that survived two world wars and undoubtedly several owners, it means the latter.
My guess is that it was removed by a careless Australia Post or Customs employee so he/she could determine the envelope did not contain a kilogram of pure German cocaine and then somehow discarded.
Yes it survived two world wars, but it could not survive the might of Australia Post incompetency.
This is Post Alley in Seattle, Washington. I think this tunnel runs under part of Pike Place Market and comes out at the world famous gum wall.
This looks better in the light box or on black. :D

My younger son gave me this postbox for my birthday last year, sometimes the postman puts the letters here and sometimes in my other letterbox. I heard a thud as he put a book in it today.
Yay! I found a post box topper!
I love them and was hoping to see one for the Coronation. I enjoy seeing them on the Facebook Post Box Toppers Group and was hoping to see one for the Coronation.
This one is a local repurposed one from the Jubilee. Sadly, at the time of the Jubilee it was stolen and wrecked, but the lady who made it repaired it.
It's so sad that people take pleasure in destroying things. It seems to have become the norm in general, in our country and the rest of the West!

The small Post Office in Bearcreek Montana is open from 8am to 10 am, five days a week. The city started in 1905 by George Lamport and Robert Leavenslaid ou the town. Bearcreek was the center of an extensive underground coal mining district. At its height during World War 1, Bearcreek boasted a population of nearly 2,000 people. The community was ethnically diverse and included Serbians, Scotsmen, Montenegrans, Germans, Italians and Americans. They were served by seven mercantiles, a bank, two hotels, two billiard halls, a brickyard and numerous saloons. The town also boasted concrete sidewalks and an extensive water system. No church was ever built in Bearcreek. Foundations of many of the towns buildings, in addition to some structures themselves, consisted of sandstone quarried in the nearby hill. The local railway, the Montana Wyoming and Southern carried coal from the mines through Bearcreek where it was shipped to communities across Montana.
The city's life blood was coal. As coal went so did the town. In 1943, Montana's worst coal mining disaster at the nearby Smith mine took the lives of 74 men, many of whom lived in Bearcreek. The tragedy hastened the decline of the town. Many buildings in Bearcreek were moved to other communities or demolished, leaving haunting reminders of their presence along Main street. The railroad tracks were removed in 1953 and the last mine closed in the 1970's. Now there are a few buildings remaining. This HDR image was taken from the cementary east of town.
