Grampian Highlands, small pool with Redshank on it when i noticed this bird did not associate with them at all. Its a lot larger than the redshank. I think it may be a greenshank but i may be wrong? Comments on possible I.D. welcomed.
The Oyster Mushroom, I'm not totally convinced that's what this is though.
Shot high up on one of the banks by the path in Limb Valley..... it was quite a scramble up and down to get to it! Luckily there was lots of exposed roots to cling onto.
The Gothic Cathedral (or possibly just Church - there seems to be some dispute on this issue) is the most precious monument in the historic city centre. Its 102.6 metre high tower (the highest in the Czech Republic) is the landmark of the city centre, and it offers a beautiful view of he surroundings from the top. At the main altar you can find Pilsen's renowned Madonna - a vintage work in the style of the so-called "beautiful Madonnas in Czech gothic art.

Alice Broadhurst apparently shared lodgings with Brett and possibly one other nurse, Fartch, at 294 Madeline Street. Both had previously been with Alice in the Nurses' Home at Royal Melbourne Hospital.
This building no longer stands and Madeline Street, Carlton is now the extension of Swanston Street, Melbourne from Grattan Street, Carlton. A good part of it is where the Royal Womens' Hospital site is presently situated.

Any advice on how to distinguish B. fallowiana from B. davidii would be gratefully received as the former has been recorded as naturalised within the park. However, this was cut back so hard in October that it will be 2020 before I can look into it further.

I used the skull, the house, the eyes, the bats and the figure of a wandering man. The sky and foreground are stock photo images.
my most favorite sign EVER! Ironically, the park this was located near doesn't even have teeter totters. Weird!

Sugoi-con 2012 was about a week and a half ago, and as always, it was a total blast!!! It was Paul's first con, and probably the best time I've ever had at Sugoi (this was my ninth year going)! Also, there were so many great cosplays!!! Here are just a few... Yay!
No I think not, but look at that creature on top of the man's head, a Gryphon perhaps? I wonder what symbolism this represents, I've only just noticed this extraodinary detail, the claws of the four feet are grasping the hair, whilst the tail and the body hang down to the left hand side of the face. One thing it proves, the Panasonic FZ38 is no slouch of a camera, as this was taken at the 18x long end of the zoom, the stabilizer works well, as this is only a tiny detail from the whole frame.
