This is possibly one of my favorite photos. I just happened to catch this mountain as snow was being blown from the top of it.
It's not always easy to distinguish the truly authentic from the faux authentic in Shoreditch. Could my faux authentic app add another layer of imagined reality?
From a postcard collection, possibly started by John Battersby (1839-1922) and probably added to by his son-in-law William Neil (1877-1945).
Message: "Dear Mother, Arrived here alright. Spent 8 hours on train. Lovely place from far from Scotia. Might take a run into Windermere tomorrow. Will write a letter soon. Hope all are well. Your affectionate son, Willie."
Addressed to Mrs William Neil, 4 Queen's Road, East Cowes, Isle of Wight.
After camping on this sand bank for 3 days I found out that it was possible that crocs had started coming this far south after recent floods. Eek!!
Low angle photography of the sun allows one to capture tree brancehes, airplanes, birds and starships as they pass between you and the sun.
And yes, disco still sucks!

Looks worse than it is here cuz the kitten is slipping on the cardboard. I try to help with the blanket but it doesn't do much other than irritate the kitten. It can walk but it falls down every 3rd or 4th step. Otherwise the wobbles are not too bad. He is eating well too. Don't worry, I'm leaving him alone for the rest of the night!
