Every parent should ensure happy and healthy development of children. But sometimes it can prove difficult due to frictions between siblings, small fights in childhood often times becomes rivalry and jealousy when children grow up. It can be hugely unsettling for children to suffer such discord between brothers and sisters. Parents have the power to make each child feel equally loved and wanted. Do not jump in too aggressively every time there is a situation of fight or disturbance between children. They should be given a chance to settle their relationship between themselves. Discourage them fro m complaining about each other and do not sit as a judge between your children; give them time to talk it through and settle their own disputes.
