This artwork, made by JS in 2015, framed a very happy moment of our Artist's Collective. It was made to ideally depict the entwinned/interwoven brotherhood among bro Jacob Sibbern (left, visible becos he is 1.83 mt tall, lol, sis WhiteAngel on the right as 1.73 mt,and bro Stefano Wolf, the tallest in the centre as 1.96 mt). Jacob painted it during his first months when he moved to Italy before definitelly relocating himself here in 2016.

White inks drawing (posca markers for the main 3 figurines & basement) plus watercolors painting on hard paper.

This artwork, still dunno why/how, glows in the dark.

Two more new mini canvases for the upcoming Holland Street Art 2011 expo in Rotterdam. Find them during the expo at the “Veel voor weinig”-wall ;)

I painted this munny today. I started working on it some time ago, but never actually finished it. It really turned out looking like crap. Maybe I rushed it, but it’s so freaking hard to make it look clean. I tip my hat to everybody who paints these munnies and makes it look awesome. Practice makes perfect I guess.

But it wasn’t all bad. I had great fun making this guy. And now that I have the little guy here on my desk, looking at me, I do kind of like him :) He’s part of the toy family now.

I think I’ll give it another shot sometime.

A couple of photos from the expo opening at the Billabong club/bar last Saturday.

I had a “black Russian” for the first time and nobody got fined during the day.

Good times.

P.S.

Some of the artists featured in the show should really brush up on their Tekken skills ;)

A close up of the Memento Mori canvas at the Billabong Expo.

It’s my little attempt at the classical genre of remembering one's mortality.

Personally, I really like this…

(mixed media on a 40cm x 50cm canvas)

Acrylics and marker on canvas.

I made this little canvas (13cm x18cm) for old times’ sake. Nowadays I’m not too interested in doing letters, but I felt a bit nostalgic about my old tag. So here it is :)

"up the pirates", gift for a friend.

[posca marker on metal tin cover]

This is a collaboration mural with Jay form "Team Space Pirates". We did this 8'x8' square wall in my studio while he was in town.

Here is canvas one of two with: JePeinsDesAliens

I finished this little canvas (13cm x 18cm) yesterday. Acrylics and marker.

I’m pretty satisfied with how it turned out; I like to think that I’m getting better at this ;)

Next up will be a bigger canvas.

Some villains that may pop up sometime in Sky Canyon. Inspired by Shotaro Ishinomori's characters.

Two super tiny 6,5cm x 6,5cm canvases (posca marker and sharpie).

I made these while listening to some Russian drum & bass. And you got to love drum & bass music. It’s funny how one track can fulfill you with happiness that reaches all the way down to your bones and the next track just makes you want to take your shirt off and punch somebody in the mouth. It’s awesome ;)

Since we’re on the musical tip; check this out

Blows my mind every time I listen to it.

A little, mischievous, alien and its big, stupid and dangerous slave monster

The Italian Stallion. Yesterday's warm-up drawing.

Warm up drawing, this may end up in some comics. I like Sammo but I'm not happy with the pet.

A crazy monster I had floating in my head for a little while. Its name comes from a Coil song.

Swirl - fun & relaxing to make

Ok, here's one of a few warm up drawings I made after a brief hiatus I took from everything. Now I'm back working on Sky Canyon and other things.

Six new mini canvases (10cm x 10cm) I made. These will be on show and for sale at the “Van de Straat” exposition coming October in The Hague.

Just between you and me; the two in the middle are actually new characters…. A new sticker of one of them is coming soon ^_^

I’m working on three more mini canvases of Ms Cisanda and one more of Crimson (That will make a total of 10 for the show).

I love them so much, I’m kind of sad about letting them go haha :D

Quick creature sketch. I don't know where this'll end up.

This drawing is for sale here.

Berughilgo is a Palace Mafia member. He wears a special demonic jacket that aids him in his missions.

I think he'll appear in Neighbourhood Of Infinity final pages but may return in other comics.

Quick one for a kaiju.

Four 20cm x 20 cm x 20 cm triangle canvases.

When I got these triangle canvases, the first thing that came to mind was the capstone of the pyramid with the all seeing eye.

But more so, these are inspired by all the controversy and conspiracy theories surrounding Bomits sticker artist of the year contest. Even “the sticker illuminati” were mentioned. Some great and entertaining stuff ;)

So I’ve put one and one together and painted these.

If somebody would like to own one, they are for sale. You can get them in my little store crimsoncisa.bigcartel.com/product/the-all-seeing-eye-canvas

Each canvas is € 19,99 and comes with a couple of stickers and one random button (free world wide priority shipping). That is a VERY fair price.

All are signed, all are numbered, all are awesome!

P.S.

I’d like to quote one of my favorite rappers for this one:

“The kids better buy my rookie card now, cause after this year the price ain’t coming down.”

;)

Me and my kids ;)

Mixed media on two 50cm x 40cm canvases.

This picture really makes me wonder; what if we were having twins 0_0

;)

A new canvas by your boy Crimson Cisa :) I call this one ‘After party is at my place!’

Aerosol and acrylics on a 60cm x 80cm canvas. That’s sexy old me holding it for scale reference ;)

What do you guys think?

(SOLD)

This buddy here is a rejected design for one of the mutant bikers appearing in a comic I'm working on. I'm going for a totally different take of the subject.

Posca markers on 10cm x 10cm mini canvases

These are the leftovers (in the most positive sense of the word off course ;)) from the “Van de Straat”-expo. So now they are for sale here.

€ 10,- a piece if you’re willing and able to pick one up locally

€ 15,- a piece including worldwide priority shipping

I’ll throw in a couple of stickers as well.

A quicker one for another Sky Canyon main villain. Iscoginburba is the master of magic and mystical arts, which one is his real face?

In order to keep pathway totems working, a knight and a bunch of ghosts travel around Planet ZZZap to feed them with psychic powered orbs.

As usual, A4 smooth paper, Copic and Posca markers.

I wanted to return to a rougher finish in illustrations and this drawing gave me the chance to play around a little bit. Next thing up is a new comic for a zine coming next year and lots more of stuff!

Stay tuned and buy Detrocboi booklet! Ciao!
