It surprises me that not many of you try photographing these goats in their magnificent surroundings. I think they make great subjects, but hey, I might be a bit weird. I'm sure I once saw a collection of photos of goats photographed in a studio. Quite how they did that I have no idea. It was very foggy last Sunday morning in Dinorwic and it made it hard to get the definition in my shots. If you want to see an absolutely immaculate and stunning portrait, look here: flic.kr/p/2mhFMMX . Isn't it just fabulous?
Somewhere in between now and my destiny.
Somewhere in between reality and my dreams.
Somewhere in between what I have and what I want.
Somewhere in between maybe and I will.
Somewhere in between later and never.
Somewhere in between I hate you and I love you.

I wanted to start off saying this caption that I made my first spooky image of the season, but let’s be real, I adore making spooky photos all year around.
I shot this image for my #creativewanderlings spooky challenges, the themes of fog and crows combined together. Arguably probably two of several of my favorite themes in my work. I can't wait to make so many more images for these challenges! I've included the full image and then details of it as well.

This self portrait took much longer to realize than anticipated.
- 1, create slide in Keynote with jumbled camera terms.
- 2, take a photo of the slide with a film camera on B&W film so it will project nicely.
- 3, develop, dry, trim, and mount frame into slide carrier for the projector.
- 4, set up the old Argus projector, using a lampshade as a temporary replacement for my head (ya, I'm THAT guy at the party).
- 5, shoot, shoot, and shoot some more until you think you have a shot that somewhat aligns with the vision in your head. Speaking of vision... I still see spots out of my right eye from that darned projector ;)
- 6, post to flickr!
