I swear that this smile suits you the best, more than the pic you put on your avatar. ^^

This skirt is one of my favorites, even if i don't wear it very often...
jodie niss, when we were not so dear friends, and perhaps not more than aquaintences, showed up in our printshop wearing this skirt. i was taken with it, loved it, she explained it came from a thrift store in Savannah.
a few years later, after we had both graduated and moved to Seattle, she was moving away to go to grad school. at this point, we had become very dear friends, so i was helping her pack/organize etc. in her throw away pile was this skirt. i had never stopped thinking about it, and could not believe she was going to get rid of it! so i took it off her hands, and i wear it and love it dearly. the elastic waistband is atrocious. the whales are adorable. it was lovingly handmade by somebody in Georgia. Perhaps i will use my newfound sewing skills to give it a zipper, but i will never, ever get rid of it.
(The original picture was taken on day 12, but my camera ran out of batteries, i left the charger at my moms, and i also left the cord there. So i had to take a picture of the lcd screen with my friend's camera on day 13.)
