In december 2019 is de tweede tramlijn van Nice via een tunneltraject doorgetrokken naar de haven. Bij de halte Port Lympia op de Quai Napoleon 1-er komen de trams in de volle lengte uit de tunnel en bieden de aankomende passagiers een royale blik op de aangemeerde schepen. Aan het uiteinde van de habven vertrekken ook de grote veerschepen naar Calvi, Bastia en Ajaccio op Corsica.
Alleen in de tunnel en op het remiseterrein wordt voor deze tramlijn bovenleiding toegepast. De Citadis 405-trams zijn uitgerust met een combinatie van accupakketten en condensatoren. Er is geen doorgaande stroomrail, alleen aan de haltes worden de batterijen en condensatoren opgeladen.
Het neoclassicistische gebouw achter de tram is de kerk Église Notre-Dame-du-Port de Nice uit 1853.

The young girl was playing with a boy, presumably her brother, that I cropped out of the frame on the right to give the shot more impact.
Ligne 2 of the Tramway de Nice follows an east-west path, with 20 stations in total. The eastern terminus is Port Lumpia, where the trams emerge into broad daylight out of a subway section beneath the Nice city centre.

The Lighthouse for Port Lympia is known as the Phare de Nice (Lighthouse of Nice), a historic, pyramidal-shaped tower with a red lantern and a white dome located at the end of the port's external jetty in Nice, France. Double exposition involontaire. Avec ce boîtier que je ne pratique pas assez souvent, le Semflex-standard f4.5 , hyper-simple, sans sécurité, sans détrompeur, il m'arrive souvent cette mésaventure...Parfois le hasard fait bien les choses et il en résulte de belle surprises.
