I like talking to the inhabitants of the places where I go, and on this occasion with Robert in Chaudanne. At the end I asked to take some photos that I will print for him. One more opportunity to return to Rhémes valley.

Ultimamente ho lavorato parecchio, inoltre fa molto freddo a Trieste con raffiche di bora che superano i 160 km/h. Così ho deciso di svernare dall'altra parte del mondo. Domenica volerò a Phuket.
Ma non voglio partire lasciando come ultima mia foto una nave della Compagnia che amo di meno. E poi non me ne posso andare via per settimane senza salutarvi.
Così ecco qua alcune foto della mia perizia dell' estate scorsa.

Lately I've been working a lot, also it is very cold in Trieste with the wind exceeding 160 km/h.
So I decided to spend part of the winter on the other side of the world.
Sunday I will fly to Phuket.
But I dont like to go away leaving as my last picture a boat of a shipping company that i dont like. And more of all I cannot go far for weeks without greeting you.
So here you have some photos of my expertise of last June.
In a few days I leave, but I will bring you in my heart, you can be sure that every photo I will take in Thailand a warm thought will run to you all

De 16 a 19 de julho (muito poucos dias, infelizmente, algum trabalho que não pode ser adiado impediu-me de ter ficado mais tempo) eu estava no Lago de Garda e foi um feriado movimentado, cheio de surpresas e belas paisagens.
Essa que vocês vê é a pequena cidade de Salò, admirada e fotografada por el navio Catullo durante uma navegação que tocou as cidades mais importantes do Lago
Il nostro viaggio sul Gargano è stato un’esperienza indimenticabile, che porterò per sempre nel cuore. Mi hanno rapito i paesaggi incontaminati, sospesi tra mare e montagna, ancora selvaggi , perciò autentici.
Mi ha colpito profondamente il calore e l’accoglienza della gente, sempre pronta a regalare un sorriso, una chiacchierata o semplicemente una parola gentile. I suoni del dialetto locale, così musicali e vivaci, mi piacciono, mi hanno messo allegria e mi hanno fatto sentire parte di qualcosa di antico e prezioso.
Non potrò dimenticare il cibo di questo territorio, ricco di sapori genuini: tra tutti, la paposcia, che racchiude l’anima di questa terra. Una poesia per il mio palato!
Negli occhi porto ancora i cieli azzurri, limpidi e profondi, e le case bianche che sotto il sole sono come perle incastonate tra gli ulivi e le rocce.
Un angolo d’Italia che sa di verità, bellezza e umanità.

Our trip the Gargano was truly unforgettable an experience I’ll always carry in my heart. I was swept away by the unspoiled landscapes, nestled between the sea and the mountains, still wild and, for that reason, so incredibly authentic.
What touched me the most was the warmth and kindness of the people. Everyone was so welcoming, always ready with a smile, a bit of conversation, or just a kind word. The sound of the local dialect was another lovely surprise, so musical and lively. It made me smile and feel like I was part of something ancient and special.
And then, the food... I won’t forget the flavors of this land, all so genuine and rich. The paposcia, in particular, so simple, yet so full of character, felt like the essence of this place. A real treat for the senses!
I still picture the bright blue skies, so clear and endless, and the white houses that shine in the sun like pearls tucked between olive trees and rocky hills.
The Gargano is a little corner of Italy that speaks of truth, beauty, and heartfelt humanity.

A principios de 2004, el técnico holandés Leo Beenhakker, entonces entrenador del América, observó un partido entre las fuerzas básicas y se percató de las habilidades de Ochoa, ingresándose al primer equipo. El 15 de febrero del mismo año en el partido contra el Monterrey, el portero titular, Adolfo Ríos, convaleciente de una operación por hemorroides es sustituido por Ochoa. Debido a esta situación, Ochoa fue titular en los partidos de liga como en los de la Copa Libertadores de América. Su desempeño en la portería le consiguió que el entonces director técnico de la selección mexicana sub-20, Humberto Grondona, lo llamara y nombrara capitán del equipo nacional.2 Finalmente, cuando Adolfo Ríos se retira consigue la titularidad del equipo.
En la siguiente temporada, la selección mexicana no calificó a la Campeonato Mundial Juvenil de la FIFA en Holanda, y el nuevo técnico del Club América, Oscar Ruggeri, que había contratado a los guardametas Sebastián Saja y Ricardo Martínez, relegó a Ochoa.1 Pero con la destitución de Ruggeri y la llegada de Mario Carrillo a la dirección técnica, Ochoa regresó a la titularidad.1
El América obtuvo el título del torneo Clausura 2005, con una racha de 28 partidos sin derrota entre partidos nacionales e internacionales, destacándose la participación de Ochoa en aquella temporada.3 El 14 de diciembre de 2005, Ochoa integró al equipo principal de la selección nacional en un partido frente a Hungría. Y luego de la lesión del guardameta titular Oswaldo Sánchez, se quedó con la titularidad.3
En 2008 fue llamado para jugar con la selección Resto del mundo en un partido amistoso contra Irak celebrado en Milán, Italia, junto a figuras del fútbol mundial como Roberto Carlos Abbondanzieri, Carles Puyol, David Beckham, Alessandro Nesta, Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, Raúl González y Javier Zanetti, entre otros.4
Es el único jugador mexicano que aparece incluido en la lista de una revista francesa que premia al mejor jugador del año con el denominado "Balón de Oro" 2007, aunque el galardón no es reconocido por la FIFA, desde 2007 abarca a futbolistas de todo el planeta y que juegan en todos los países. Cabe mencionar que en base a su talento y popularidad,la empresa EA Sports lo incluye, junto a Ronaldinho, en la portada del videojuego multiconsola FIFA 08 y FIFA 09 en su versión para Norteamérica (México y Estados Unidos).

When the Apertura 2004 season began, Ochoa was thought to be the heir apparent to Ríos, who had retired. However, new coach Oscar Ruggeri brought new goalkeepers with him, among them Argentine standout Diego Sebastian Saja and veteran Ricardo Martinez. Soon after, Ochoa was benched by Ruggeri. Ruggeri's stay at the club was marred by controversy and unpopular decisions. He was fired after only six games into the season and Ochoa was soon reinstated by new coach Mario Carrillo. Since then, along with club and international teammate José Antonio Castro, he has started every game for Club América barring incidents involving injuries or national team duty. Under Carrillo, Ochoa won his first championship with America following the Clausura 2005 season. He is considered to be the best goalkeeper in Mexico and in the Americas.
