"For two days I photographed arctic terns. The fog was thick over Matinicus Rock and all my photographs at first were made against this white background. But in the afternoon of the second day the sun burned through for a short while. During this interval a tern paused above treading the air with its wings. With the sun pouring through his feathers, he glowed like a white flame. And I had the picture I wanted."
Recently my second reading of Eliot's books has inspired me to take a new direction.
He is my favorite photographer and worth reading about.
If you want to know about this brilliant photographer:
Virginia Central’s Porter 50 tonner crosses the Hazel Run with two cars in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
I opened the Miss SL Discord channel today, right at the very moment Zantyago Mannonen of Zan's mentioned they had made a tuxedo dress... and I was immediately tagged by my friend Kat Dassin who knew how badly I had been in need of this. Yes, need. Ever since the Oscars 2019 when Billy Porter made Glenn Close do THIS
I was determined to squeeze myself into it no matter what kind of fit it was - and at that point it was femme only - but the wonderful Zan made up a male top version right there on the spot then visited me at home to check the fit. Awesome, right?
You can get your copy on mp and it has the male and female top versions included with a 5 colour HUD.
LOOK GRAZIA AND SIENNA I FINALLY GOT MY BILLY!
A view of Porters pass from Foggy peak after a tough climb through some very deep snow drifts. I’d wanted to get a higher perspective but the building wind put that out of reach. Anyway nice to get out and get some fresh air and give the legs a workout getting to this ridge line.
CSX D-796 curves through the town of Porters Sideling, PA on the former Western Maryland Railway's Hanover Subdivision. The town's name was always shortened by the railroad to just "Porters" in the company timetable.
Norfolk Southern SD40E # 6328 is seen leading K64 southbound onto the Delmarva Central Railroad at Porter in Bear, DE.
"The Porter House (circa 1850) was all decked out for the holidays in the historic

"Happy middle of the week before the week before Christmas!" got that? :)

At the time, this was just another train to shoot. But looking back on it now, there's a few things to like: ex Conrail C40-8W (ex CR 6053), Conrail tri-lights, and an actual TRAIN (31M) on the Porter Branch north of Willow Creek!
