In the tiny town of Coucy (also known as Coucy-le-Château - and formally Coucy-le-Château-Auffrique). The town is mostly known for its castle (Château de Coucy) from the 13th century and the town is situated withing its medieval walls.
And this is the Soissons Gate (at least it says so on the sign next to it on the wall!).
Une œuvre d'art façonnée par la nature, d’une largeur de 7 mètres et d’une hauteur de 5 mètres, à 858 m d'altitude. Un monument naturel de grès rose sculpté par l’érosion. On dit que le lieu dans lequel trône cet étrange et fascinant monolithe est chargé d’énergies bénéfiques. La croyance populaire voyait dans cette porte l'entrée vers le "Pays Interdit "
Après une promenade digestive, mes yeux se sont portés vers un méli-mélo de trottinettes de toutes les couleurs !
Les utilisateurs de ces engins ou des vélos en libre-service ne prennent pas soin de bien les ranger après usage !

At the end of April, the weather can still be very changeable in Étretat, Normandy, France.
I found that out one evening at sunset on the chalk cliffs. The wind howled cold over the cliffs and I had to hold my tripod with one hand to keep it from being blown away by the wind.
The view from up here over the sea to the rock gate Porte d'Aval made the effort worth it. This stretch of coast has been one of the area's main attractions since before Monet.
