Al municipi de Montferrer i Castellbò, hi tenim el mirador de la Creu de Guils, un "balcó de cel", que incorpora un passadís volat, elevat uns 15 metres sobre la muntanya, i ofereix vistes del nord i el centre de l'Alt Urgell, amb el Cadí en primer pla, així com d’alguns cims propers d'Andorra, la Cerdanya i el Solsonès.
The viewpoint of La Creu de Guils, in the municipality of Montferrer i Castellbò, corresponds to that of a "sky balcony", which incorporates a raised corridor, raised about 15 meters above the mountain, and offers views of the north and the center of l'Alt Urgell, with Cadí in the foreground, as well as some nearby peaks of Andorra, Cerdanya and Solsonès.

De camí cap a Llagunes, sortim de Rubió seguint el voral de la carretera amb la voluntat d'apropar-nos fins al Serrat de Santa Creu, per veure de prop el poble medieval i la seva església romànica.
Al fons de l'escena, hi ha la impressionant Serra de Sant Gervàs -que fa de límit entre les comarques del Pallars Jussà i l'Alta Ribagorça- amb el Avedoga d'Adons (1.839 metres) i la Pala del Teller (1.889,3 metres)
On the way to Llagunes, we left Rubió following the shoulder of the road with the intention of getting closer to the Serrat de Santa Creu, to see up close the medieval town and its Romanesque church.
At the back of the scene, there is the impressive Serra de Sant Gervàs - which forms the boundary between the counties of Pallars Jussà and Alta Ribagorça - with the Avedoga d'Adons (1,839 meters) and the Pala del Teller (1,889.3 meters)
De camino hacia Llagunes, salimos de Rubió siguiendo el arcén de la carretera con la voluntad de acercarnos hasta el Serrat de Santa Creu, para ver de cerca el pueblo medieval y su iglesia románica.
Al fondo de la escena, hay la impresionante Serra de Sant Gervàs -que hace de límite entre las comarcas del Pallars Jussà y la Alta Ribagorça- con el Avedoga d'Adons (1.839 metros) y la Pala del Teller (1.889,3 metros)

El Port de Cantó, Coll del Cantó o Coll de la Pedra del Cantó, és una collada o port de muntanya situada a 1.718,4 metres d'altitud situat al límit dels termes municipals de Soriguera, de la comarca del Pallars Sobirà i de Montferrer i Castellbò, de la comarca de l'Alt Urgell
Està situat en el punt quilomètric 260 de la carretera N-260.
És a la carena que enllaça la Serra Seca, al nord, amb el Serrat de Pratprimer, al sud.
És un dels ports catalans que amb més facilitat presenta dificultats per circular a les èpoques fredes, ja que es cobreix de neu amb molta freqüència, cosa que fa que els mitjans de transport públics, i privats, tinguin prohibida la circulació en alguns moments de l'any.
S'havia anomenat Coll de la Pedra del Cantó per una pedra dreta que hi havia hagut, actualment desapareguda, que ha estat identificada com un menhir.
Després d'haver fet nit al Refugi de les Comes de Rubió, vam començar el dia fent una volta als Estanyets, per començar a baixar per la Serra Seca i el Pla Muntaner fins al Port del Cantó.
Durant el camí anem descobrint vistes espectaculars cap a la comarca de l'Alt Urgell, amb la Serra de Sant Magí i el poble de Guils del Cantó.
After having spent the night in Refugio de las Comes de Rubió, we started the day by going around the Estanyets, to start descending through the Serra Seca and the Pla Muntaner to the Port del Cantó
Along the way we discover spectacular views towards the Alt Urgell region, with the Serra de Sant Magí and the town of Guils del Cantó.
Después de haber hecho noche en el Refugio de las Comes de Rubió, empezamos el día dando un rodeo a los Estanyets, para empezar a descender por la Serra Seca y el Pla Muntaner hasta el Port del Cantó.
Durante el camino vamos descubriendo vistas espectaculares hacia la comarca del Alt Urgell, con la Serra de Sant Magí y el pueblo de Guils del Cantó.
