Caladenia maritima, the Angahook Fingers Orchid

Small white 'finger' Caladenia, identified by the size, colour, and purple marks on the labellum. Extremely rare! This is from the only known location of this plant!

It was a real thrill to be able to see these plants in flower (actually my 2nd time there).

The popscicle sticks presumably some part of a monitoring program?

Bonus: careful viewers will notice the 6+ stems/buds of Thelymitra mixed in with the Caladenias... no idea which species. (Thelymitras were what I went there to see!)

so i know ive been using this lovely teddy bear a lot. im sorry but he's so darn cute. and also i think im gonna do a set with him but also other "child" things called Release Your Inner Child. also i havent started the tutorials yet. im waiting for this weekend to pass since its a decently busy one then come monday or tuesday ill start the process and hopefully have them up by the end of the week. *crosses fingers* or at least a levitation one. anywho. today was fun. i spent the day at my parents mostly watching little kids run all over the place. there was popscicles, the smell of sun screen, and water being sprayed all over. not a bad day at all. although we were supposed to be getting the outside of their house prepped for painting but i dont know what happened with that. haha. no but im heading back over there tomorrow morning to tape off windows and then hopefully heading over to the best friends to help her paint her house. i guess its just a painting weekend. alright guys bed time for me and bearington. i think thats what im gonna call him. im still not sure yet though. any suggestions would be appreciated. oh and this shot was inspired by the awesomely talented Joel by this shot.
