Meet Monsieur G. Opper. We had many a poolside discussion and he was a mean water volley-ball player.

With being away for my niece's wedding, I took an early morning walk (without the dog!) around the resort we stayed at. Too bad we didn't get to stay in one of the separate units, but the room we had was very nice. This is the Eden Resort in Lancaster, PA. This is the outdoor pool by the Village section of the resort.

The graffiti on the side of the dirt-filled swimming pool suggests that some friends from Franklin High School's class of 1977 came here to reminisce, perhaps about a graduation party that happened here.

The Star Motel must've really been something in its heyday. My hunch is based on how the landscaping here continues to bloom under the canopy of perfectly lined rows of trees.

Small pool next to our condo unit this AM.

Today was a gorgeous day. Hot and sunny with less humidity.

Have not really taken many pics. Just unwinding and enjoying the the tranquility.

We haven't been here since last March so lots of stuff to do in and around the condo.

Will have to get out the camera and explore soon!!!!

Phoned home today and Sara said the boys have been keeping her awake at night with their antics.

Said they were both fine. ;-))

We had the opportunity to stop by and visit some friends I haven’t seen in a few years. They have become sort of an extension of my own family. These were two neighborhood girls that came over to cool off during the record breaking heat wave the east coast had during the holiday week.
