Hello my amazing Flickr friends !
Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily but I’m skipping it this week since the theme at Looking close on Friday is once again too awesome to miss … This week’s theme is white and red. Which are exactly the colors of Polish flag (in that same order: white on top, red on bottom)!! And since I’m very proud of my Polish roots I had to make a white and red picture for today !! Of course, white and red are also the colors of Canadian flag with makes this theme even more awesome !

One more autumn photo from one of the parks in the city of Łódź in Poland. I do miss that kind of Autumn on the west coast of Australia and cannot wait for another opportunity to experience this beautiful season in the northern hemisphere again.

Rotunda of the Panorama Racławicka - exhibits Image Battle of Raclawice painted in the years 1893-1894 by a team of painters under the direction of Jan Styka and Wojciech Kossak. From 1893 to World War II image was found in Lviv. Since 1985 it is offered in Wroclaw, in the rotunda built in the years 1961 to 1985 entered in the register of monuments in 1991.

Rotunda Panoramy Racławickiej – eksponuje cykloramiczny obraz Bitwa pod Racławicami namalowany w latach 1893–1894 przez zespół malarzy pod kierunkiem Jana Styki i Wojciecha Kossaka. Od roku 1893 do okresu II Wojny Światowej obraz był wystawiony we Lwowie. Od 1985 jest wystawiony we Wrocławiu, w rotundzie wybudowanej w latach 1961–1985, wpisanej do rejestru zabytków w 1991 roku.

Am Morgen des 09.04.2016 wartet SU45-089 mit ihren 2 olivgrünen Bonanzas als Zug 88001/ 0 von Krzyż auf die Abfahrt nach Czarne.
Es ist für sie die Abschiedstour vor Ablauf der Frist für die Hauptuntersuchung. Zuletzt erhielt sie diese am 26.05.2008 bei PESA in Bydgoszcz.
Gopło Lake is the largest natural reservoir in Kujawy, being one of the largest lakes in Poland. It is a post-glacial channel lake with a meridional course. The Noteć River flows through its entire length.
The coastline is varied, with numerous bays and peninsulas, and there are also a large number of islands.
The length of the lake is 25 km and the maximum depth is 16.6 m.

Jezioro Gopło jest największym naturalnym zbiornikiem wodnym Kujaw, będąc jednym z największych jezior w Polsce. Jest to polodowcowe jezioro rynnowe, o południkowym przebiegu. Przez całą jego długość przepływa rzeka Noteć.
Linia brzegowa jest urozmaicona, z licznymi zatokami i półwyspami, występuje też duża ilość wysp.
Długość jeziora wynosi 25 km zaś głębokość maksymalna to 16,6 m.
