A Common Red Poll sitting on the remains of a Sumac seed head. He is surprisingly waiting his turn to get at the feeder.
31 March 1990. I had been out with my camera in Covent Garden and was walking back to Charing Cross when I noticed a riot had broken out in Trafalgar Square. Had to take some pictures obviously. You can see the fires being put out in the background of this one.

It's General Election night. I walked past the Palace of Westminster about half past nine and the broadcasters were testing the projection onto parliament. I waited around until 10 'o'clock to see the exit poll results.
Now the wait begins..........

I didn't like this with the dark background, but another look made me upload it lol I've been looking for another card for my trip as a backup for my 32GB extreme sandisk, I'm not spending too much on one, so would it be better to buy a 64GB (40 mb/s) extreme or a 64GB ultra (20 mb/s) ?

La ricetta di Salvatore. Aprite il pollo, dopo averlo fiammeggiato, lungo la schiena, praticamente fate che il volatile si atteggi in posizione per così dire ginecologica.
Togliete le interiora, lavatelo bene (non con dash) e asciugatelo.
Fatto,direbbe Fiorello.
Posatelo sul tagliere, premetelo sul petto con la mano e con tutta la vostra forza (si devono sentire gli "scrocchi") in modo da appiattirlo bene. Ungete il pollo da ogni parte con olio di Casa Gola (la pubblicità è l'anima del commercio) e conditelo con sale, pepe (come se piovesse) e mettetelo sulla graticola a fuoco ardente. Rivoltatelo più volte e, se è teneto e piccolino, il pollo dovrebbe essere cotto in 30 minuti, se non ci vorrà di più.
Per vedere se è cotto trapassate una coscia con uno spillone e, se non esce sangue vorrà dire che è cotto. Mangiatelo. Se il risultato non vi soddisfa prendetevela con Salvatore o con la posizione ginecologica.

*first years refers to students in the first year of the photography concentration at RCC. I'm currently a second.. err, third year.
Snapshot of a poll I did on H2otown. Our local town council has been addressing healthcare costs for town employees. The cost has been going through the roof -- up 133% since 2000. (inflation was 23% in the same time period). Councillors get paid 5k a year but can opt into the town's insurance plan. They only need to pay 10% of their premiums.
The vote was to go to 20%, which is what the town is expected to ask other town employees in the course of union negotiations. The council voted no, keeping their own contribs at 10%.
