FUTURON - POLARIS EXPRESS
"Polaris", in reference to the mythical Set 6972 Polaris-I Space Lab, and "Express", in reference to the Orient Express of Siberia, in relation to a tracked vehicle of the tundra
The inspiration comes mainly from the Russian vehicle Vityaz DT-30 tracked, and its little brother the Vityaz DT-10PM, particularly adapted to the tundra and the cold.
Multi-function vehicle. It can be converted into a Cargo, Passenger, Small Vehicles, Oxygen, etc.
There are 6 modular blocks of 5x7 studs, which can be unclipped, can be put in the hold, and can be put in the order you want. Include a mix. The roof can be unclipped.
The 2 types of Vityaz DT have lots of military or civilian variations. Surely one of the vehicles with the most variation in the world, as crazy as that is. Excavator version, passenger / troop transport version, ballistic missile version, freight transport version, radar station version in arctic base, amphibious version, crossing bridge version, logging transport version, tank version (yes yes, with 2 turrets !), snow plow version, mobile laboratory version, gas / mining version (currently used by Gazprom), etc ... We are on a monster which is not far from making 3 to 4 large cars wide depending on the version. I wanted to stay a little in this “multifunction” spirit for the MOC.

FUTURON - POLARIS EXPRESS
I've been wanting to try this for a while now and last night was finally clear enough to give it a shot. Pretty stoked on the result, but I think next time I'd like to get a more interesting foreground. The light you see is the glow from Lebanon NH, and if you look carefully there's a meteor just below the north star :)

The Polaris Slingshot is a three-wheeled motor vehicle, introduced in 2014. Over here it's considered to be a car. In some places it's seen as a motorcycle so occupants have to wear a helmet. The Slingshot has a 2.4 litre engine from GM.

Stella Polaris in Buckie this morning. Had really hoped for a bright sunny morning but dull and overcast it was. Just pleased to have got it as it left a few hours later.
The end of 2016 saw the introduction of United's brand new long-haul interior, and while the retrofitting of the interiors to their existing aircraft has been somewhat conservative, there seems to be a lot more progress being made at present.
At present, United is concentrating on retrofitting aircraft with the oldest interiors, notably the mix-and-match of Boeing 777-200ERs from both Continental and United eras, and The Boeing 767-300ERs.
The legacy United Boeing 777-200ERs have some of the most outdated interiors, which also include the now discontinued international First Class interiors. The first to be treated was in April 2018, however 23 have now been refurbished with 10 more expected to be treated.
As for the legacy Continental Boeing 777-200ERs, 4 have been treated with 2 currently being refurbished. 16 of the airframes are yet to be treated.
The refurbishment incorporates a huge increase in the number of Business Class seats being installed, new Premium Economy and a somewhat tighter yet modern Economy seats. With over half of the Boeing 777-200ER fleet now complete with them expected to finish by 2020; inroads should be made on the Boeing 767-400ER and Boeing 787-8/9 fleet.
Currently, United Airlines operates 92 Boeing 777s, which includes 19 Boeing 777-200s, 55 Boeing 777-200ERs and 18 Boeing 777-300ERs. United Airlines have 4 more Boeing 777-300ERs on-order.
November Seven Eight Eight Uniform Alpha is one of 55 Boeing 777-200ERs in service with United Airlines, delivered new to the carrier on 15th July 1997 and she is powered by 2 Pratt & Whitney PW4090 engines.
