On Monday we drove 10+ hours north-east to Weiser, Idaho to see the totality of the solar eclipse. What an experience!

There is one stretch of a long highway that connects Interstate 80 in Nevada with the Boise area. It takes 3 1/2 hours to pass the Idaho Oregon Nevada Highway, with just a few houses along the way. This straight line is somewhere in Oregon near the Rome State Airport.

I processed an enhanced HDR photo from a RAW exposure, and carefully adjusted the color balance and the curves.

The Lower House at Hakone Gardens has a beautiful stone garden, perfect for meditation. This Japanese garden is located in Saratoga, California.

For this shot I chose a one-point perspective where all lines lead to a single point in the distance. Director Stanley Kubrick used this composition extensively in his films The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket, Barry Lyndon, Eyes Wide Shut and Paths of Glory.

I processed a paintery and a balanced HDR photo from three RAW exposures, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the curves and colors to pop the scene.

To view in stereo, sit 2-3 feet from the monitor and gently cross your eyes so that the two images become three. The one in the middle will be in 3d. If you are finding this difficult, you may be trying too hard. Viewing the original size is best.

This is the corridor in school where I've resided for the majority of the past two years. I used the monochrome pen work to reflect the mood that is felt within it. Other than this the black and white go hand in hand with a traditional one-point perspective illustration.

This is a layout from a show that myself and some friends are working on
