an Episode of David's Pointless Minute
Not the coffee and pastry, on actual crockery and indoors, but the fact that I has to go to the office today to be seen. Anyway, now that the 2 hours wasted commuting is out the way I can hopefully avoid going into the office again for a while.
For the record, it was a hazelnut latte with a pain au raisin and I have no regrets.
No new pipes, no cables, just pointless re-construction of a speed hump that was already there and for no reason other than to keep the workers busy. But wouldn`t crosswords be less destructive?.
Where do all the dead bricks go?
The long-awaited bike path connecting the Broida Hall and Chemistry building bike paths. But the roundabout seems rather pointless in this case.
Þórsmörk Nature Reserve. Bridge washed away by the Krossá river in Goðaland. Unfortunately this meant we couldn't reach the TungnakvÃslarjökull, a huge piece of ice flow (just right on the pic) dipping down from the Mýrdalsjökull, Iceland's second largest glacier (the white mass stretching over the mountains in the back). We stayed at the Básar campsite in this valley, which is nicely remote.
