Les trois gargouilles.
Une gargouille (du latin garg-, gorge, et de l'ancien français goule, gueule) est, dans le domaine de l'architecture, une partie saillante d'une gouttière destinées à faire écouler les eaux de pluie à une certaine distance des murs. Ce type d'ouvrage sculpté, généralement en pierre est souvent orné d'une figure animale ou humaine typique de l'art grotesque roman puis surtout gothique.
Par métonymie, elles désignent toute figure sculptée évacuant de l'eau et représentant le plus souvent un animal monstrueux. Elles sont ainsi présentes dans les temples grecs, les mascarons de fontaines.

La race du Shih Tzu est originaire du Tibet. En tibétain, son nom signifie « chien-lion » et dans la culture tibétaine il est apparenté au Dogue Tibétain, autrement nommé « lion des neiges ». Historiquement, il est le produit d’un croisement entre un Lhassa Apso et un pékinois. Sa popularité prend son origine dans la Cité Interdite de Pékin, au XIXe siècle, au moment où l’impératrice en fait son animal de compagnie. Le Shih Tzu sera alors surnommé « la perle de l’impératrice ». La race sera introduite par la suite en 1930 en Angleterre puis en 1953 en France.

Mon carlin de deux ans !!!
Le carlin (vient du nom du comédien Carlo Antonio Bertinazzi) est une race de chien provenant de Chine et existant en Europe depuis au moins le XVIe siècle. Il est connu sous l'appellation de Pug (carlin) aux États-Unis, au Brésil en Australie et en Angleterre (du fait de son profil en poing) et de Mops (fâché) en Allemagne et en Russie. Il appartient à la catégorie des chiens de compagnie et des molossoïdes ou molosses.

Le Carlin
Nous avons la certitude que le Carlin est une race de chiens très ancienne. Elle était déjà connue et appréciée par les Mandarins, d’où sa sélection par la Chine. Néanmoins, l’Angleterre et la Hollande le reconnaissaient à ses justes valeurs. Ces deux pays l’ont voulu pour « eux tout seuls ». Pour obtenir la paternité de celui-ci, ils ont mis en avant les compétences reconnues de ce chien, depuis « la nuit des temps ».
Au final, aucune de ces nations n’a pu l’avoir. Elle a été donnée à la Grande-Bretagne. Malgré les difficultés que ce canin ait pu rencontrer au cours des années, il est maintenant très apprécié. De nombreux maîtres l’aiment et le prennent pour compagnon fidèle.
Le wallaby (mot d'origine aborigène) est un nom vernaculaire donné à un ensemble de marsupiaux semblables à des kangourous de petite taille. Il n'y a pas de définition stricte du mot : on appelle wallaby tout macropodidé qui est considéré comme n'étant pas assez grand pour faire partie des kangourous au sens strict ou qui n'a pas reçu une autre dénomination.

Our visit to the Hrad Český Krumlov (Český Krumlov Castle) was basicly to get the view of the little town below but the castle itself was beautiful.

Hrad Český Krumlov
Hrad ÄŒeský Krumlov is a castle in ÄŒeský Krumlov in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It dates back to 1253 when the first castle was built by the VÃtkovci family, the main branch of the powerful Bohemian family Rosenberg. Currently the castle is listed as a national heritage site and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992, thus serves as a major tourist attraction. It is the second most visited castle and the second largest castle and chateau complex in the Czech Republic after Prague Castle.
The castle stands on a steep and long rocky headland, which is lined with Vltava from the south. The bridge over the Bear Moat leads through the passage to the Lower Castle, on the left side is the oldest part of the castle (Hrádek), an old palace with a tower from the 13th century and paintings from 1580. From the tower is a beautiful view of the castle and the city. The eastern and northern wing of the irregular large courtyard of the Lower Castle consists of a burgrave's house from 1578. In the middle of the courtyard is a stone fountain from 1641. Across another moat a brick bridge leads to the Upper Castle, the Rosenberg Palace. The unique five-story Cloak Bridge over a deep carved moat from 1764 connects Upper Castle with the castle theater building and gardens.
The Český Krumlov Baroque Theatre from 1767 is one of the best preserved Baroque theatres in the world..

On the corner of the Rue Lepic and Rue Tholozé the view over Paris is fantastic and you can spot PA_1077 in the distance as well. Since the book with the complete first 4000 space invaders from 1998 to 2021 was released, we know that this space invader is number 2842 in the world.
