… it’s chicken … from your neighbour’s lunchbox, no less. Now what ?

Like a lot of new and very busy mums, Priscilla, our new tenant around the allotment, gets her calories when and wherever she may find them. I believe there are a lot of hungry suckling mouths at home.

… Priscilla is obviously wondering why I haven’t got anything for her. I must be the only one she hasn’t been able to get food from around these allotments :-)

… are taking some time off. I wonder who is cub-sitting back in their foxhole.

… the entrance to their foxhole is right behind that fence under a couple of gnarled roots. He’s just making sure I’m not trespassing while Priscilla is away on a scavenger hunt :-)

… now where has Jasper gone ? Probably up to no good …

… for a wild fox, Priscilla is completely shameless. I keep refusing to feed her, and she keeps on asking anyway. She’s an optimist I reckon :-)

… Priscilla and her mate, handsome Jasper, moved into our allotment a couple of weeks ago. They’ve just had cubs, but haven’t brought them in the open yet.

Priscilla and Jasper are very laid back characters, good at keeping pests away from our cultures, but also at lifting the odd sandwich or stray lunchbox.

She was actually on her way to inspect the inside of our shed when I surprised her. She just gave me a quick once over before carrying on her inspection as if she owned the place.

As far as I'm concerned, she does :-)

… anything edible of course. Priscilla is doing her morning round.

… just checking of course. Priscilla the red vixen is looking for an afternoon snack again.

… Priscilla is about to burglarise our neighbour’s shed.

… the rat in there didn’t stand a chance. The next few shots in this series are a bit too graphic to publish :-)

It’s nice to know Priscilla still hunts. She’s better known for preying on lunchboxes and sandwiches these days :-)

… Actually, she thinks it’s the reverse: I get to cheerfully dig the ground … and she gets the worm, no need to be early about it :-)

… haven’t seen the family in over a week. I hope they moved peacefully. Not all tenants in our allotments are friendly to wildlife.

..

… Priscilla is on the prowl. I suspect she’s always hungry at the moment. I found their foxhole but kept well away, so don’t know yet how many hungry mouths are in residence.

… brambles have established a firm beachhead in the allotment. Still planning my counterattack. Off to buy new and sharper shears :-)

… having started a family, Priscilla is now launching her modelling career. A most accomplished vixen :-)

I love the way older colour films slide in to Impressionistic Pointallism.

Kalimar Barbie Colour film. 12 picture factory cassette. Expired 01/2000. Made in Germany, so most likely it is Agfa film. Because of the age it was set from 200 ISO to 50 ISO and home processed C-41 for an extra 1/2 stop. Camera was the Minolta 110 ZOOM SLR. Meter was set +1. All of these Barbie film images are from the same cassette. Processed in GIMP.

The La Contessa was a full-size pirate Galleon that used to roam the playa at Burning Man. In 2003 the La Contessa (and it's crew) were banned from attending Burning Man because of wreckless driving. In 2005 the ban was rescinded and the La Contessa returned to the playa. In December 2006, a disgruntled land-owner burned the La Contessa to the ground. I'm not sure if criminal charges were ever brought up against him.

This is a pen and ink drawing I am working on in remembrance of this beautiful piece of art.

clown in pointalism - 1980 This colorful clown hung in my new born son's roon, 1986, until his sister insisted it looked evil & was scarey to her baby brother; i removed it from his room but it will always be a favorite of mine.

11x14 pointallism in red, orange, yellow and black.

I did this piece last week to be displayed in the Moonshine Tavern at Burning Man 2008 - The American Dream.
