"Orange Butterfly" by Juan Olivarez
Orange butterfly, floating in the sky,
I wish I could fly, like you do, so high.
You flutter your wings, and fly where you please,
And land on the flowers, or the green trees.
You don’t have a worry, not even a care,
And even though fragile, you dance through the air.
So go where you may, I’m happy to see,
An orange butterfly, so wild and free.

Soul love, the priest that tastes the word and
Told of love, and how my God on high is
All love, though reaching up my loneliness evolves
By the blindness that surrounds him
Love is careless in its choosing
Sweeping over across a baby
Love descends on those defenseless
Idiot love will spark the fusion
Inspirations have I none
Just to touch the flaming dove
All I have is my love of love
And love is not loving...
Well with the results of so many things assaulting our countries... We all need a little bit of hope in our lives...

"Bateau Ivre" (drunken boat)
The name of this boat amused me; it also seemed to me being an allegory about the state of our beloved planet Earth.
But more seriously, it is the title of a famous poem written in 1871 by the poet Arthur Rimbaud.

A well-designed and landscaped sim, like this one by Raven Fairelander, can fool your brain into thinking pixels are 3D and real. Don't you just want to run up that hill, or roll down it?

"When my time comes around
Lay me gently in the cold, dark earth
No grave can hold my body down
I'll crawl home to her"
'Why must you shed such tender tears,
In the evening of your years?
No other love could stem the tide,
Of the loneliness I hide.
Open your heart and let me live,
All the promises I could give.
The sun and moon and all the stars,
They bow down to you,
Whenever you pass.
In a world of fading sadness,
An emerald ring, a photograph.
That look in your eyes, the brush of your cheek,
These are the moments in life that I seek.
No reason or rhyme, no presence of mind,
Just a dance to the music of time.'

"And at night you will look up at the stars. Where I live everything is so small that I cannot show you where my star is to be found. It is better, like that. My star will just be one of the stars, for you. And so you will love to watch all the stars in the heavens . . . they will all be your friends. And, besides, I am going to make you a present . . ."
He laughed again.
"Ah, little prince, dear little prince! I love to hear that laughter!"
"All men have the stars," he answered, "but they are not the same things for different people. For some, who are travelers, the stars are guides. For others they are no more than little lights in the sky. For others, who are scholars, they are problems. For my businessman they were wealth. But all these stars are silent. You - you alone--will have the stars as no one else has them--"
"What are you trying to say?"
"In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night . . . You - only you - will have stars that can laugh!"
And he laughed again.
"And when your sorrow is comforted (time soothes all sorrows) you will be content that you have known me. You will always be my friend. You will want to laugh with me. And you will sometimes open your window, so, for that pleasure . . . And your friends will be properly astonished to see you laughing as you look up at the sky! Then you will say to them, 'Yes, the stars always make me laugh!' And they will think you are crazy. It will be a very shabby trick that I shall have played on you . . ."
And he laughed again.
"It will be as if, in place of the stars, I had given you a great number of little bells that knew how to laugh . . ."

Western Australia - Broome, Cable beach, a beach of 22km long.
Camels were imported in large numbers in Australia in the 19th century for their use in the building up of the telegraph network after the linking of Broome to Indonesia with a cable( thus Cable beach). Nowadays, Australia has the world largest population of wild camels and is breeding camels for export to several Arabian countries!!!
