Part 3 of the first nights, this was my first night in Spain, after the flight from Italy, I decided to stop over for one night in Ibiza before continuing to the mainland. Cala d'Hort area is probably the most scenic spot in Ibiza, unfortunately I got a pretty dull sunset, and more unfortunately, a few hours prior, I got my second parking ticket in Europe (the first one was a sneaky one 10 years ago in Austria, on a mountain top, I never expected to pay for parking in the middle of nowhere), it was free during siesta time, I overslept and wham! 45Euros out of pocket.
EDIT: Hakan is right, there was another parking ticket in Sibenik, Croatia last October :-)

About this image: A passed over 2010 image of a local bed and breakfast in my archives got a breath of new life in this digital art piece. I loved the fairy tale castle feel to the structure and would have killed someone to live there and own it myself. Just kidding. I really wouldn't kill someone. Ever. Unless it was self defense, of course. But, I digress. On a plane ride to Florida this weekend, I had plenty of time to use my digital skills to translate this old picture into what I consider a beautiful creation of my imagination. Fairy tales...I am living my own fairy tale because I choose to see the magic in each day of my life.
Taken with my new tiny little camera! Not bad for something that fits in a pocket. Edited with LucisArt.
Instax camera needs way more light than what you get at dawn. The print was dark and blue. And the print had to stay pretty cold for several minutes in my pocket... Edited a bit.

I knew those Altoids tins would finally come in handy one day...
An Altoids chewing gum tin is just about the perfect shape for carrying your brand new Moo MiniCards. It will hold about 30 cards comfortably. There is a bit of extra space, as you can see, but just enough so that there shouldn't be any damage when the case gets a bit jostled in your pocket...
(EDIT: #14 on Explore for October 3... some people must dig this.)

Just back from a short stay in Italy. This is nearly the only time I had an opportunity to make some shots, at the Mercato Fadini in Taranto, on the day before an early flight back to the UK.
Here you have a young man busy getting mussels ready as the market buzzes with seafood-hungry customers like ourselves. If you happen in Apulia, I would recommend you drop by Taranto as well. Formerly home to a large-scale polluting industrial complex (ILVA), this is often overlooked by tourists who prefer the Adriatic cost. Food and beverage is at great level and nearby sights include Martina Franca, Grottaglie, Valle d'Itria, Manduria. The last two are considered staples of Apullian wine production, Manduria being renown for its unique flavour of the Primitivo grape (primitivo di Manduria) and Valle d'Itria now innovating with the freshest bubbly rosé. Did I tell you that you should visit Apulia ?
For this shot, I used sony a6000 and the nikkor 50 1.8 pancake. A wonderful combo on the road. I love my vintage primes for you can carry few in one pocket.

Loaded for bear? That's me.
In my Tamrac backpack, I can carry just about every piece of gear that I own, though I usually don't. The items to the left of the bag aren't usually with me, but all those filters will fit in the little Tamrac attachment. The items to the right of the bag fit in the front zipper pockets.
EDIT: some of this gear has now been sold. Some of the rest of it resides permanently in my closet.
