I know I haven't posted anything in a while, so if you think that I am dead, I am not. But anyway, I went to Portland (it is apparently known as Portlandia, but I don't want to call it that because I would feel like an asshole, not living there and calling it that, so I will not), for my girlfriends birthday and this is the first of many photos I took (on slide film by the way PROVIA 100F is da shit). This is my shallow attempt at an Eggelston esc image.
Shot on Provia 100F

Parque Metropolitano de Santiago (PMS) is a landmark location in the city. Great vantage points to appreciate the city. This time, during twilight time, looking straight to the Manquehue Hill and the Andes mountains.
In this case PMS stands for Pantone Matching System. Photographed at my desk. I have two freelance design projects keeping me very busy. I will try to catch up on commenting in Flickrworld tomorrow.

GADZOOKS!
This made Explore Sep 9, 2009 #132
Cool!
I am armed.
I have PMS.
Any questions?
This made Explore but the idiot that runs the group Better Than Good banned me for blessing his group with this image. LOL!
It's one reason I really don't like groups much.
Check my profile - the only groups I belong to are mine.
Groups are garbage and I include mine.
Dumping grounds is all they are.
Please - no invites!

It was a rainy night and it was my last night in SF and I HAD TO take this photo. It was a pain to shoot in rain for such a long exposure but a few tangled plastic bags around the camera and the golden-gate monument used instead of a tripod (more like a cement-pod), I think it came out good...
Exposure: 296 sec (4 min 56 sec)
Aperture: f/20
Focal Length: 51 mm
ISO Speed: 100
