I haven't even had the thing for 24 hours and I'm enthralled with the OM-4's metering system. You'd think with all the CPU power in today's digital SLRs that someone would have resurrected this system.
And yes, the finder is magnificent. I'd be hard pressed to decide between this and the Minolta X-series, but this actually shows more information with less visual intrusion… impressive.

That green Merc again. with Darwen Jubilee Tower on the hill in the distance. The tower was built to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897 and to many local people it also celebrated the freeing, from the lord of the manor, who held shooting rights, of Darwen Moor in the previous year. They say you can see the Welsh hills from the top. More often than not you are lucky if you can see the Lancashire hills; mist and moorland are seldom parted. But whatever you can or can't see from up there, from down below and from many miles away, it commands your attention. You can see it from the M6 north of Blackburn; you can see it from the centre of Preston; you can see it from the hills above Bury; the hills above Chorley and the hills above Accrington; you can see it in the gaps between houses all over the town: Darwen Tower is a beacon that beckons the eye.
