City Cemetery #1. Although similar to the work of Dionicio Rodriquez, a local expert has informed me that it is the work of another comtempory, not the work of Rodriguez himself, nor Maximo Cortes, or his son, Carlos. It is nonetheless, a refreshing and unusual change from the typical low boundary walls (otherwise known as cradles) found throughout one of the city's oldest cemeteries.

I make no excuse for posting loads of these shots. It was a nice day and I needed some photos for an allotment competition.

These were seen with some pro-leavers early in the day. They re-appeared later and seemed to be acting strangely. Two police officers turned up and they fled the scene. Seemed a bit strange.
our plan for the weekend is to put in all the early seeds. or, more accurately, for me to sit on my bed-resting arse while closely supervising tex planting the seeds (poor guy). and, even though we have three new beds - the ones on the right - still there isn't enough space for everything i wanna grow. but - tex came home from a run the other day and said that as he ran up to our house, he had visions of tetris-block-like beds all over the front lawn, making a kind of glorious vegetable maze to walk through. (ok, he didn't use the word "glorious," but everything else was his.) so i'll make do for this year, while secretly plotting the contents of my tetris garden of 2013.
