The top and stopper of a souvenir Tres Mujeres tequila bottle I got when visiting Tequila, Mexico. The bottle is lit within using white fairy lights. The blue bokeh dots were from blue fairy lights draped over my camera and reflected off black plexiglass behind the bottle.

Soft, thanks to the plexiglass at its exhibit, this Canadian Lynx would've been purr-fect if it were just thick, regular glass or maybe nothing at all, if the enclosure were designed cleverly. Oh well, I couldn't pass up the opportunity, so here it is.

In January 2022, I asked for help, and a Flickr support hero removed both of my accounts from the Explore algorithm. I feel more relaxed and my jaw no longer hurts ;-)
Too hot here. As with so many other places in the world, unusually hot, hot weather—or floods.
This daisy wilted in the heat. Cut and taken inside to place under one key light, left, with reflective surface of black plexiglass and black background. Mirror up position to avoid movement at 1/50 shutter speed. Tripod cannot guarantee sharpness.
Well, it's February folks! It doesn't matter whether it's on a t-shirt, plexiglass heart, Valentine card, chocolate box, cookies or whatever. Written, painted, with sequins, beads or printed it's ALL ABOUT LOVE!!!
Isn't it!

The abbey of San Galgano is a Cistercian abbey, located about thirty kilometers from Siena, in the municipality of Chiusdino.
The site consists of the hermitage (called "Rotonda di Montesiepi") and the large abbey, now completely in ruins and reduced to just walls, a destination for tourists. The lack of the roof - which highlights the articulation of the architectural structure - in this abbey joins those of Melrose and Kelso in Scotland, Tintern in Wales, Cashel in Ireland, Eldena in Germany, Beauport in Paimpol ( Brittany) and the Convento do Carmo in Lisbon.
Of San Galgano, owner of the place that is celebrated on December 3, it is known that he died in 1181 and that, converted after a disordered youth, he retired to a hermit's life to give himself to penance, with the same intensity with which he had first given himself to debauchery.
The culminating moment of the conversion took place on Christmas day 1180, when Galgano, having reached the hill of Montesiepi, stuck his sword in the ground, in order to turn the weapon into a cross; in fact in the Rotunda there is a boulder from whose fissures sprout a hilt and a segment of a sword corroded by years and rust, now protected by a plexiglass case. The evident echo of the Arthurian myth has not failed to raise curiosity and, obviously, some bold hypotheses on possible relations between the mythology of the Round Table and the history of the Chiusdinese saint.

Morning mist and clouds accentuate another sunny day aboard the Mein Schiff 4 cruising off the Italian coast in the Mediterranean Sea. A few passengers have claimed their spot on the deck recliners while others keep on enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the dining room below. Plexiglass panels in the deck railings add some colorful reflections. Deck 14 is actually the 13th deck. They just don't use that number. [SNY08623_lr_2000]

. . .especially this cottonmouth, a poisonous pit viper which is common in the Ozarks. . .fortunately, a sheet of clear plexiglass was between him and us.

Pedestrian bridges cross Las Vegas Blvd, and give great views. However, the plexiglass that is too high to photograph over made some interesting reflections of the Wynn, Encore and Palazzo hotel signs that were actually behind us.

This fellow was laying right beside me. The only thing that seperated us was a couple of inches of plexiglass. What an experience!

The reflections on a Plexiglass wall come from the gallery of a public swimming pool in Berlin-Lichtenberg, built in the Cubist-Expressionist style and opened in 1928, which had been closed for years since 1988 and is now occasionally used for exhibitions.

As part of the DUMBO Arts Festival in 2014, sculptor Tom Fruin installed his famous plexiglass house, Kolonihavehus, in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The multi-colored house is lit from inside and temporarily inhabited by performance duo CoreAct who engaged in a collaborative physical performance that is described here by DUMBO:
"The colorful glass house is inhabited by two performers, who portray everyday dilemmas and lifestyle paradoxes in a subtle manner. They have lost the ability to meaningfully discriminate, and are trapped in a long chain of procrastination, mirroring our current social patterns."
Trying to create beauty out of common items. This is just a spritz of water and vinegar on some Plexiglas with sequin fabric about four feet behind it. The sun is shining on the fabric creating the bright bokeh. Since the surface was scratched up I thought I would add texture to the image too.
Note - vingear and water alone will not kill coronavirus so please clean your surfaces appropriately.

Trust me, Tiger, I absolutedly don't hate you...but that's the vibe I'm getting from your stare. Or are you wondering what my camera and I would taste like if you could just get through that pesky plexiglass? That's it, isn't it? You're fantasizing about expanding your flavor pallette.
