This is from the inside cover of "The Country Bunny and the Little Gold Shoes" by Du Bose Heyward, pictures by Marjorie Flack. It was one of my favorite books as a child - and I still love it. 💕Image measures 2" from the easel's left leg to the bottom tip of the pink pinafore. Taken for MM pastel theme - but I didn’t realize added text was not allowed. Thought about removing text and reposting, but felt it was important to credit the artist given that it wasn’t clear from my photo that it was art from a book.
Wyatt and Mia playing in the last snow. Wyatt loves his blue ball and when he is not chasing it, he has is close by.

Usually balls are a one time play treat, as he chews through them in no time. But I bought a three pack of Chuckit balls and all three have held up to his chewing. They have all lasted more than a month! This one glows in the dark!

...I loved playing baseball with all the boys in the neighborhood. I got such a thrill out of watching their faces when I would crush a line-drive over their heads or back-hand a ground ball and throw them out at 1st base. My daddy raised a proper Tom Boy!
A little side note: the glove pictured here was my first "real" glove that I got from the Easter Bunny when I was about 8 years old.
Created for Pop Art Portraits Challenge. My dog, of course--for whom life would be a disaster if he couldn't leap for a tennis ball everyday.
My quest is to visit every MLB ballpark. It could be a dream or willing to accomplish simple things in life. Traveling every part of the world is really what I want, but not reality. Just take it one day at a time....
I held little Messi in place like that with a match stick and blu-tack (Then with the help of photoshop, it's gone). With the ball I stuck a tiny bit of tack on fishing line and onto the ball. I swung it back and forth towards the camera in a pendulum motion. Got the shutter speed to what I wanted and Voila, Messi Magic
